For some reason, I cannot write to my external sdcard anymore, permissions are different than on other rom's so need to mess around with that a bit. but not being able to write to my 64GB card is definitely a showstopper.

I, too, had no camera apk. I downloaded the one linked in post #73 with a black screen shown on first open.
Rebooted to try again and same results.

I've tried a couple of different cameras and got the same results.

You will have to flash it in a command prompt...
-Download the recovery
-Change name to "recovery.img"
-Make sure you have the android SDK
-Copy the recovery image to the
-platform tools section of the SDk
-connect phone(USB debugging)
-power off and place into fastboot
-open command window inside the platform tools folder of the SDK file
-type "fastboot", "fastboot devices"
- now flash the recovery
- type "fast boot flash recovery recovery.img"
-reboot and profit:-)

Any timeline on the mms and camera not working problem fix? That is the only thing keeping me from rocking this ROM.

Is everyone just having issues with the camera on the 11/13 build? My camera worked fine before hand on the build b4 that. I still have that build on my sdcard IMA unzip both when I get home and compare, see if its something simple like a broken/missing permission

yes camera broke in 11/13 build but works with the 11/8 build I think is what it was. That is what I am running since I always keep the previous version handy.

So far this is one of the smoothest fastest feeling Roms. Problems I've noticed, no camera and or not working, caller id buggy coming up as unknown, SD card not accessible. I would love to help out. Thanks for this awesome ROM! Let's get er 100% :-)
I posted the fix for the sdcard in an earlier post. Edit the /etc/permissions/platform.xml and add the line to fix the problem.

I did it on the phone and it worked fine. But yes, you can do it on a PC.

What about the MMS? Is that still not working as well?
