I agree idiot proof instructions! Love em ! Buuut I don't have a camera apk in my app drawer ...reflash or what ?

Sigh ..with all my excitement I forgot a very important lesson read read read comprehend read somore lol tucs already stated that this is alpha at best and we should be happy it booted when replying to starfox about his camera issue in post #48 I apologize for just skimming the thread .

Is flashing this ROM supposed to break root? That's what happened to me. I flashed the ROM, and everything seems to be running smoothly, but my phone is no longer rooted according to Root Checker (and SuperSU is unable to attain root access).

It isn't rooted. There is a zip you can flash in the op th will give you root. If you still have issues come back and we will try to help you out.

Is anyone else having horrible feedback issues on Navigation in Google Maps with this Rom? As soon if not a little bit after the audio playback for navigation starts (when she starts giving you directions) the audio crinkles and makes a bunch of white noise.

I am both haha. Just flashed about an hour ago. So far so good, but I have no idea what exactly was changed so I can't say for sure yet. I'll report back with any new problems I run into. Thanks and DFTBA!

, we've got some 4.4 AOSP KitKat builds that we're gonna be posting (and tinkering with for some basic options). All credit goes to dhacker, hashcode, epinter & company and the entire Razr QCom Dev-Team for getting this up and running so quickly.

Prerequisites:
You must be on an unlocked (or dev) Razr HD XT926-VZW
You MUST have TWRP 2.6.3.0 flashed (all older versions won't work). I find the easiest way to accomplish this is to download the appropriate

, place it on your SD card then install from the Play Store an app called "

". This is an amazingly simple app that allows you to put a recovery image right on your SD card, you run the app, choose flash recovery and basically just hit "go". And it'll flash the recovery for you. Certainly there are other ways and many write-ups on how to do this manually with fastboot or whatever else you wish, I find this way to be the most user friendly.

Destructions:
Download the most recent posting of the Rom zip, the Gapps and the Root zip from the provided links
Put this stuff on your SD card (I don't care which)
(BEFORE you do ANYTHING, make sure you've flashed your updated TWRP 2.6.3.0! You only need to do this once, it's final!)
Reboot into TWRP recovery
MAKE A BACKUP! This stuff is Alpha AT BEST!
Wipe Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache, System (going from 4.X.X to 4.4 without doing this will break stuff, don't be lame...just do it)
Flash Rom zip, Gapps, Root zip
Reboot
????
Profit

What Works?:
I've been told this most recent build has working data and external SD mount, but you're more than welcome to complain, just remember this is alpha!

Rumour has it, MMS. SMS does function afaik

Not much, but we'll try. We're all lucky as hell we've got Android 4.4 on a device that Moto/VZW ABANDONED on 4.1.2...BE HAPPY!!

Yeah but always with bugs.. All the severely stable ROMs are 4.1.2 stock based.. I'm looking to create a hybrid of both 4.4 and 4.1.2.. Just can't get any decent devs on it.. And my computer crashed, and my ex shattered one of my RAZR's..

I reverted back to my usual for the time being, but yes I did. It gave me a force close the first time using, then gallery froze, then all was well after reboot.

The Camera apk is there but even if you install it, it doesnt show in the drawer. My Gallery is working fine.

 

Titanium Backup doesnt want to work.

My camera works fine, titanium backup is a no go. Actually quite funny how we all experience slightly different results.

Titanium works fine as long you aren't using art. I have restored every with titanium the only thing that did restore correctly was sms.
