I think I broke my live wallpapers. I was wanting to change out my regular dead wallpaper and remembered liking some of the background images from the live ones. So I copied them out of the apk file so I could choose them in the wallpaper picker (they still exist inside the apk, I checked). Long held the desktop and chose wallpaper option and noticed that live wallpapers no longer showed up in the list. Tried restarting, twice. So um, where do I apply the SamuraiHL super-glue to fix this?

Anyone with any ideas on how to bring back my live wallpapers? Please?

Sounds like you broke the live wallpaper apk(s) .... when you copied the images out of them..... you can reinstall the apk(s) quite easily of you are rooted....

Yes! I am rooted! How do I reinstall the apk's? Tapping them only gave an uninstall option. I tried installing a couple free ones from the market but when I tap "open" they just immediately force close.

Got it fixed!! I had downloaded the Nexesque ROM. So I opened the zip and extracted both livewallpapers.apk and livewallpaperspicker.apk. I ran livewallpapers.apk and it said installed so I tried running pickers but it said not installed. I then copied both files in system\app, rebooted into safestrap, wiped the dalvik-cache, rebooted, and viola! Live wallpapers show up again! Yay! Oh sorry, are my n00bs still showing? lol
