I've unlocked and rooted my Droid Maxx DE, loaded TWRP recovery. I'm ready to experiment, but obviously want to put a safety net in place. The only guide I've found is here.

The link points to a stock recovery image that is older than what's on the phone. To complicate, Verizon is pushing an OTA today. My question/concern is, if I custom ROM, then flash back to the downloaded stock image, will I get the OTA updates to bring me current?
