Link2SD doesn't work. If I link the apps then try to open them it does a force close :(

Most likely link2sd is not compatible with 4.4

I was able to successfully install this. Everything seemed to flow swimmingly. However, I took a screen shot, tried to open it with the stock gallery app and got a force close. I then powered the phone and rebooted it, but got stuck at the boot logo screen.Really sad b/c I spent an hour setting it up - so not sure if I did something wrong on my end. Otherwise, really enjoyed the ROM, and everything else worked fine that I was able to test.A couple of observations though: add the extended power menu options to be able to reboot, and add accurate battery. Otherwise, this is a real winner! Thanks for your work! Looking forward to future updates. On the plus side, upgrading to twrp from 2.3.2.3 worked flawlessly, and I was able to restore a backup made from that prior version.Great install "destructions" Tim!Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk

pretty sure kitkat has a way to turn on accurate battery as part of standard setup now

In Quicktiles and Battery Stats it show up as 1% but the battery in status bar is still just an image.

Update: everything works! Bluetooth, SMS (using hangouts), mobile data, calls, camera, camcorder, etc. Great work fellas! Will report later in battery life. Although, the phone us showing it knows how to enter deep sleep mode.

This is awsom.Figured out why SU wasn't flashing for me I had a bad download. Swipe to type would be nice but not complaining. Now just need my link to SD app to update for 4.4 now.
Edit;
Figured out I just needed to turn on Google keyboard to get swipe working.

So let me try to answer some of the ?'s

Is this ROM deodexed?

No, this is AOSP...this is a virgin as it comes (for now)

Lates release external SD work! But camera dont have 6mpx options ( wide ). Is posible fix it?

Thanks, this rom work like a charm, best rom beside stock debloated deodexed 4.1.2!

This is alpha, these bugs will get ironed out as things progress. Keep in mind you're running 4.4 Kitkat on a device that was end of support with 4.1.2(!!!). Please also remember that source for 4.4 is LESS THAN 2 weeks in the wild. It's a freaking MIRACLE that this boots on these phones. Sure, not quite a daily driver if you need EVERY single feature. But if you're the type who likes to be on the bleeding edge all I can say is, "at least the phone works!" :)

I was able to successfully install this. Everything seemed to flow swimmingly. However, I took a screen shot, tried to open it with the stock gallery app and got a force close. I then powered the phone and rebooted it, but got stuck at the boot logo screen. Really sad b/c I spent an hour setting it up - so not sure if I did something wrong on my end. Again, read above response...alpha quality here

Link2SD doesn't work. If I link the apps then try to open them it does a force close  :(

Read up 2...alpha quality

External SD work, but not mount as real SDcard2. In stock 4.1.2 i had two sdcards in system. Can you fix this?

Please read up 3...alpha quality

In Quicktiles and Battery Stats it show up as 1% but the battery in status bar is still just an image.

You too? :p Fix it and I'll pick the commit. ;)  :D

For some reason this seem to have less or about the same bugs as the 4.3. ya it doesnt yet have all the mods.. but its a sweet Daily Driver. great thanks to Dhacker, Hashcode, epinter & company and the entire Razr QCom Dev-Team and lets not forget about Tim and Tucstwo. They always on top of this phone not letting it die. which is good news to most of us. when i say Daily Driver i mean as this works:

  • Data on boot
  • Bluetoot
  • Wifi
  • Wifi-AP
  • SD Card mounts
  • Camera ( including screenshot video and panorama)
  • Text messages (plain text; MSS still need a bit of work but it works spotty and/or with 3rd party apps.)
  • NFC seem to connect (havent tested it but most of regulars wont even know the phone had it  )
  • you can browse the web listen to music and watch videos
  • And its snappy what else could you ask for?

DHacker29 posted on twitter there will be a new build with the external SD mount fixed. Also heard if having problems sending MMS to try the 8sms app in the play store for now.

Sent from my Maxx HD running 4.4 Kit Kat.... thanks to DHacker29

Didn't work for MMS. Not really worried about MMS but if there's a fix, it'd honestly make this ROM perfect.

Agreed. This is daily driver material. In fact, I may try this out over the next week. Hoping to keep it. Only things missing are bells & whistles, and I ain't gonna complain about them.

EVENTUALLY... I know i sound like a jerk at times but you guys need to read the previous post... it has been said about 10 times that this is an Alpha build not mods added yet. maybe 3rd party apps can do some mods just have to browse the google play store for them right now. this is as pure android as it might get.

Strange I woke up this morning and still had 98% battery remaining. I did notice in settings in about phone the phone number is unknown. Phone sends and receives fine just thought that was strange.

hmm, then perhaps it could be related to bluetooth being on.  i always leave it on - and I think I began to notice the drain after turning it on.  so i'll try turning it off.
