Post when you receive your N5, how many and what versions. 

 

I have two 32 GB black on order. The Play is saying they will ship November 5th.

I get my G2 today..... Wait, wrong letter and number..... . the two I ordered showed the same ship date. 16 & 32 Both black. The 16 will be used in a supporter giveaway here on DR so stay tuned !!!!

I tracked mine this morning and it says they should be in Thursday.
So it looks like I'll be saying goodbye to Verizon Friday.

I got mine yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon. I excitedly opened it up and powered it on, only to reveal 3 dead pixels on the screen :(

 

I had to call customer support to get the ball rolling on a replacement.

I got mine in today.
One is rooted and now has TWRP on it. I'm debating doing the same thing to my wife's.

I need a tester. Yes I'm getting this phone but haven't given up on using it on Verizion.

 

Here is my thoughts. By changing settings to make the verizon APN settings stick and flashing the G2 radio it should work.! that my thought anyways.

 

If it does't you can just flash factory radio and settings.apk to restore

 

 

Also just noticed that there is no APN conf in system/ect 

 

Maybe adding the file in to that folder will also get this to work on verizion. 

 

It is a universal chipset. It will work on all bands of LTE, It is just a matter of making it see band 13

Sounds good make a back up, I'll put the zip together, quick flash in recovery and I think we will be good to go.

 

I will also put together an undo zip to return to stock.

I put my Verizon SIM in the N5 and it didn't see it.
