My buddy just got a phone this is model on box

MOTXT1080M what is this  phone is it a new phone ?

looks like it has 4.2.2  on it  is this an old production phone or new

just being sure one of the guys in the phone store did not rip him off

he paid 200.00  woth a 2 year plan

I would assume the M on the end means it's the Droid Maxx. Those Droids came out in August

no name just this model number , I have not heard of this model number either, that's why I'm asking you guys

I have a Droid Maxx.. Model number is XT1080.. don't know about the 'M'

Thanks guys look like it is a Droid Maxx I didn't know this phone was out  but that is what it is I appreciate the help
