I flashed the 12/4/2013 build last night and seemingly everything was working well.  I was not able to send MMS though. When I went to mobile networks, I was not able to access the APN settings as it was greyed out, which I suspect was the causative factor.

 

Anyone else seeing this lack of functionality?

Low, here's a little gee-whiz question about ART.  I've been doing plenty of reading on it and understand what it's about.  However, when is the best time to enable ART?  I'm running the 4 Dec nightly with PAGAPPs and every time I try to enable ART, it doesn't work.  I reboot after enabling ART and the phone runs through its power cycle.  Then, it will get to my lock screen, hang there for a second, and reboot.  After the second reboot, it forces itself back to dalvik.  I understand ART is still under development, but I just wanted to check it out.  Is this something that needs to be enabled right after a fresh install, prior to restoring all of my apps, or is this still something that's under development in this ROM.  Thanks for the help. BTW, I have zero issues with the 4.4 OSE.  I've been using OSE on the M since you all released it and OSE was the first ROM I loaded up on the HD.  Thanks to you all for the work.

12/9 installed fine. Hangouts fc, then other stuff, then froze solid. This is first version that crapped on me. Any suggestions? Should I try again? Dirty flash, only cleared caches.

 

EDIT:  Installed 12/10 - seemed fine till I tried to you Apex launcher.  THAT appears to have been the issue.  Started over without Apex and all seems well.

 

Going to try NOVA again.

Yep, NOVA seems to fit nicely.  Apex I think hasn't quite figured it out yet.

I was nervous about moving on to kit kat, but I decided to take the plunge tonight.

I have to say I'm very relieved and impressed about how smooth this ROM is running. No problems with any apps or features. MMS works so far. I'll check video in a second, but I'm confident that'll work fine.

FC only happened when I was messing around with LCD density (very happily staying at 280), and has stopped since.

Thank you all for the hard work on a fantastic ROM!

Interesting phenomenon going on here:
I running the 12/12 nightly on an xt926.
Phone will connect to Open and WEP WIFI connections.
Phone will not connect to WPA/WPA2 WIFI connections.

Anyone have any theories?!?

So I clicked on the link..... and I get G+ and the OSE logo, but it says private, then nothing happens.  I"m not a google+ user, so did I miss a step?

 

And........ what did you guys do on  12/11 to make the battery last like, forever?  This is a great ROM!

Yes it is. Haven't tried group MMS yet, but photos go through without issue

Yeah, you need to be a G+ member.

Did you run a clean install?  I've had zero issues on my HD and M running this ROM.

I just realized I'm unable to see the sdcard in es file explorer. But I'm still able to listen to music that's on my sdcard through player pro. Weird, but not an issue for me 😅

Have been running the first 4.4.2 nightly, and this thing runs SMOOTH.  Incredibly fast response as well.  I was able to resolve the issue with wifi and other than mixzing and mx player not working (as they haven't been given 4.4.x support yet), everything is working out of the box awesomely.

I use mxplayer, too. For now, I switched to vplayer, which I've found is a comparable alternative.

True. Still can't get players to play avi files though. It's a bit annoying as that is what my entire movie library is encoded as!
