No longer in testing

 

Stock Debloated Deodexed Pre-rooted Moto X base Safestrap ROM!

 

I'll start by saying PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a backup of whatever you have (everything on your internal!) and load it onto your computer! There is a chance that by trying any ROM you will have to rsd, in which case you will lose everything because of the lack of external sd!

 

-Major thanks to both Shane1, for testing testing and re-testing lol, and Hashcode, for Safestrap and helping me get this out to you guys!

 

Installation:

1. Create ROM slot

2. Flash zip

3. Reboot

4. Enjoy!

Not Working:

-Wi-Fi

Are you sure wifi isn't working? i think the wifi issue was related to SS but i could be wrong. I don't have the X I got the Ultra instead or I would give it a go.

Yep, I have been hiding in the shadows. lol

 

I think Hashcode fixed that issue though in the newest version of SS.

I'll have to ask Shane to see if he's got the latest version on there... But until now there was only 1 other ss version ROM for the X and it was the tmo version... meaning hash only recently was able to do flash testing with mine and I don't think he put out an update since. But I'll check it out with both of them! Thanks! And good to see you :-D

Is there a way to change the RUIM config to NV_Only in this or any other ROM? Whenever BPTools is selected it just goes to Safestrap and so I'm not able to boot into the ROM with a diagnostic port. I was able to connect using RadioComm, but I do not see the option to change this.

Per hashcode: Yeah if he edits a file: /system/etc/safestrap/flags/recovery_mode  he can change the boot mode trigger for safestrap to whatever. It's "bp-tools" currently.

, but wasn't able to successfully connect. Oh well, I enjoy these custom ROMs anyway!

 

 

Actually I finally got the virtual serial port to work, so I'll be able to go in that way. Thanks for your help.

Does the 15.1 update include the new baseband or do I still need to flash it via fast boot??
Or perhaps is the x.15.1 the new baseband??

Either way I'll find out tonight when I get home from work.

Fantastic ROM! Been running all morning and the only issue I'm seeing is my WiFi is not turning on. Tried the og trick of wifical.sh in terminal emulator and no dice. Any suggestions??? I was running this on ss slot 1. Couldnt get WiFi to fire up so I backed it up and restored on stock slot. Still no WiFi. Sent from my XT1060 using Tapatalk
