best bet, is to not do the upgrade to JB., just use the ROM compatibility tool to flash a JB kernel, and then run a JB ROM so you don't forfeit the ability to run both ICS and JB ROMs. just my 2¢

Sorry for the newbie type question but when you refer to the ROM compatibility tool, is this another app I need or something I already have?

Sorry disregard. I am confused what I need to do. I have Matt's utility 1.82. I am running the safestrap 2.11. I believe I need to update safestrap first. then I can dual boot?

Compatibility tool is for if you are on an older firmware. Once you are on jb its no longer useful.
