so ive been doing a lot of reading and searching. i found apktool to pull out the files for theming but stuck there. cant find the apropriate forums to get any further

first time rooting/roming and it works great. of course it was the same night that apex updated and broke it so it always force closes. kinda made me nervous at first. The fixed it right away though and everything is perfect now. great work.


Same thing happened to me....updated Apex....and kept getting FC's and wound up having to wipe and reflash everything.....What did you do to get it to stop?

apex released an update within a few hours that fixed it because it affected so many people.

look at Apex in play, they released an update that caused the FC's. should be able to go back in and download the new update which should take care of any issues....

Yea I figured it was an Apex prob and not your ROM....But it soft bricked my phone....anything I tried it would FC and my only option was to wipe and reflash.....Oh well, just curious, thats all

I installed go launcher real quick when it happened then went to app settings and uninstalled updates on Apex. Then I waited for 1.3.1 which quickly arrived.

Hey, so I was on this rom a little while ago and I went ahead and flashed the "droid spider" logo over the "M dual core" logo and I was wondering how to get back to the M dual core logo. Now that I have switched to another rom (nothing against this one, it's great, I just switch roms like every other day :D) I would like to get back to the original logo. Thanks! -Eric

Hey, so I was on this rom a little while ago and I went ahead and flashed the "droid spider" logo over the "M dual core" logo and I was wondering how to get back to the M dual core logo. lol, search for the boot logo mod here in the forum.... I think it has the stock logo in it you can flash. or you can fast boot to get back it back. ..

Update:

I have been using the ROM for a couple weeks now on my RAZR and it along with juice defender increased my battery life from around 7 hours of my use to 17.5 I couldn't be more pleased I also have not experience d any issue other that. My own self induced. Excellent support as well. I just bought a RAZR maxx and I can't wait to see the benefits.

nice! glad your experience has been a pleasing one!! BTW, u cant go wrong with the Maxx battery, stay on 211 and flash the 214 kernel, flash this and profit. I was getting around 2 days, with 8 hours On screen time. :ph34r:

Love this ROM. I only have 2 issues. I prefer native Swype with arrow keys, and native Smartactions that includes brightness rules. Any workarounds?

download the version of swype that you want, and place the apk in your system/ with the permissions (rw-r--r--) set, and that takes care of the kb question... and smart actions can be downloaded from Play. (they may not work though since so much blur has been removed), in which case i can only suggest flashing a rom that still has blur if u want/need that app.

Thanks andlaw. Smartactions works, except for absence of a heights rule. The Swype i retired to restore from TiBu, but it failed. I'll figure something out.

ya all u need to do is add in the scripts to init.d, there is a thread on XDA that explains how to do it, im not around the PC or i would link it up..
