i plan on releasing a package update for BW.6.16.214.spyder.deodex.final.

*** no this update is not 215, it still remains off my 214 build.
*** no i did not integrate in OverClock scripts, if you want to OC your phone you can do it manually.
*** yes you can flash this over 214 BW ROM (no wipes necessary, my script will do it for you)
*** yes this works on 211, 214, and 215 ICS kernels.
*** if your running a theme, i suggest go back and wipe cache/dalvik and reflash the FINAL ROM package, boot up, and then go back and flash the ROM update package.

*********** i will also be updating the main ROM package with the changes made within the update package, to save future down-loaders from needing to flash both. Don't ask for an ETA, it will be up soon~~

ROM status: uploaded!
All of the current themes supported for this ROM are still valid and work properly. ..

alright guys, so while i was updating i was noticing small stuff here and there, ended up changing more than i had anticipated. With the changes i made, i can't seem to get the ROM to work properly after flashing the update package, so there will only be a ROM zip that you will need to download and flash (fresh install is recommended, but for those who don't want to wipe data it a 50/50 chance you might get force closes.... so create backups to restore).



ZumoCast has been added and is working (replacing the functions for MotoCast users)
All apps are up-to-date (updated: Play v3.8.17, Maps v6.11.1)
added in: Bwicons, Compass, DroidLight
Fixed charging animation: smooth!
removed the text under Lockscreen icons
changed the color for emo_icons from Green to white (MMS.apk)
updated notification directory (removed duplicate ringtones/alarms etc)
**you will need to flash Darkgtalk after you flash the new rom package (after first boot as usual)..

lol, your themes are good to go! but if you plan on doing anything with maps or Play, just pull them from the new zip and your good to go

use a file manager, delete Maps.apk from system/apps, reboot. Open Play, download Maps..

so using rom toolbox, i went into system-->app and delted maps.apk. rebooted and still get the same error when installing maps from the play store

so use k-9 mail..... i dont recall any custom deodexed/de'blurrd rom based off a moto build and has exchange working.......

It was an honest question since Exchange is a deal breaker for me, too. I could not get my Exchange server working on K-9 and I am sure jammin wanted to know if it was possibly fixed before having to start from scratch.

no worries. but usually when something gets updated it would be apart of the changelog,. but no exchange, it doesnt play nice when blur gets stripped from the rom. thats why i have K-9 Mail in the suggestions found in the OP. just so others know now..

oh and i put together a little remix theme i might release later this week. Its mainly for the people who still want a little ICS blue in the ROM, but not a lot of blue.
Signals and battery is blue, some blue in the contacts/phone, white widow keyboard/ and calculator. white/grey MMS/Gtalk font etc. so more or less its a mix btw Black Widow ICS and White Widow theme. i was missing some color through white widow and this is what ive come up with to suite my crackflasher inside lol. still wish i could share this blacked out Tapatalk....

Got a noob question. I love this ROM and it's my daily ! But it's really difficult to look at some of the menus because of the darkness. Like Google Map's suggestions when you search for a place.. I can live with it but is there an option not to?

why you no can't share?!
New update running smoothly. Only issue I've had at all is turning data on and off, it takes a little longer to reconnect than old build. Not a deal breaker lol

Late update, it did work on a fresh install. I don't know y so many remnants of simplex were left behind. It's great now
