does anyone else get signal bar and 3g/4g icon issues on .215. I would love to run this rom but the issue of the bars appearing under the 3g/4g icon and the 3g/4g icon moving around as well too kills it for me.

I get this on 215 too! I was thinking that I was losing data, so is it just an icon issue?

im not sure what it really is. im not sure if i am actually losing signal along with it or not. but i do know that it definitely isnt normal thats about it lol.

Got a question... why are some apps locked so they can not be disabled.. example messaging... I use GO SMS PRO for my messages.. and I nomrally freese the built in messageing... can not find to freeze either.. can someone tell me what I am doing wrong... like the ROM over all... but would like to be able to freeze and/or disable some apps I don't use because they keep getting reloaded...

Delete or rename them in /system/app or use an app like Rom Toolbox to freeze

yes if you are on .215 you will have signal issues and signal bar/icon issues.

i can seem to get them to stop. ive tried flashing the rom and formatting the data cache and system idk how many times but the signal bars keep disappearing under the signal icons and/or the icons move up and to the left randomly by the alarm icon also get really small. sorta like the eclipse signal icons.

lol thanks for answering my questions with false truths. this is based off stock so no you shouldnt have data drops. some have reported the 3g/4g icons disappearing and then reappear (215 kernel), i have not experienced any bugs... and if you are thats fine, but to say the rom has data drops in response to his question is not true lol. so please dont answer it like you know its a known problem or something. thanks.

I was sorta confused as well as the other two black window Roms are in one thread. This Rom is based off the stock ICS .214. The other's are based off AOSP further to AOKP Milestone 6 /// Cyanogenmod 9. The one's based off of CM9 and AOKP are very customizable where as the stock isn't. I'm no expert, but I dont see any refrence to RC(Rom Control) on this ROM as I do in the other (AOKP///CM9) ROMs. If you google each of the terms i've highlighted in BOLD, there is a ton of info... Hope This Helps! May be wrong though.

Kinda right, kinda wrong...

THIS thread is for BW based off of Moto ICS stock with some AOSP apps included and most of the blur stripped.

The other 2 you are correct. They are CM9 based and AOKP based roms
