Hey just curious andlaw is it worth it for you to upgrade the ROM to a 215 base or does it not make a diff as long as we have 215 stock in not safe system (which obviously includes kernel and radio)

nope no point really for me to upgrade to 215 for the base, as long as the user is running the 215 kernel they are already taking advantage of what there is to gain. running a 214 based ROM will/should make no difference. (as the non-safe's sides kernel is still used when flashing roms on the safe side)

I really liked the stock keyboard over the one that comes with this rom! Any way that I could install that keyboard with this? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Ahhh gotcha. I thought you just were stuck on swype.

Edit: When I get home I'll make a zip you can flash with it unless someone else sets you up before then.

If you have ran any other (deodexed) ROMS that have stock keyboard, you can open the ZIP on your computer, go into the System/app folder, copy and paste the LatinIME.apk onto your desktop, then drop it on your phone, and move into your phones System/app directory, and make sure the permissions are set (rw-r--r--) and then reboot for the changes. .. First person to say they dont like the keyboard though, woooo hoo!

in case anyone was wondering, the Aosp gnex locksreen option for arctic works for BW, no bugs to report yet, but i also tweaked the APK...

Really enjoying thi rom. Swype is my kb, btw. I think I'll hang with this a while. Battery is good. Would like to custom the lock screen shortcuts, but no problem. Keep it up!

in case anyone was wondering, the Aosp gnex locksreen option for arctic works for BW, no bugs to report yet, but i also tweaked the APK...

that mod uses a different framework-res so flashing a mod from a different ROM onto mine will change some stuff, and possibly start causing issues later.. just an fyi

hehe, you chose imo my best build, it being of course based off stock ensures the stability.. but it is definitely my most time put into a single ROM., and I feel it shows, even though it seems to be flying under the radar with Arctic in the spot light. but if my darkness is too much, I added in the link for Red Widow theme by DSG., IMO best looking theme out there atm!

How was he able to OC to 1.35 gHz? And how about the other settings on the over clock app?

hmm i think your referring to the guy who posted a scn shot in my CM9/AOKP thread? but we have a thread here in the forums for OC'ing your RAZR/MAXX. people have hit over 2ghz already. but applying a different governor & I/O scheduler will help with performance.

I think you're right! I wanna OC this beast! I haven't overclocked one since the OG DROID 1! I remember when taking it to 1.2+ ghz was impressive

Ok, So my browser is FCing when I use it. it will let me go for 10 minutes at a time, and then it start FCing again. I have tried to wipe data and cache, but same thing happens. Also, I can not get the wifi tether to work. I get an error saying that it it could not connect.

Any thoughts?
