Did you run the posted above kernel update? Look at the kernel version date. Should say june 29th. System version will still be .211

My accounts, advanced setup, add account, MotoCast ID


EDIT: Turns out when trying to add a MotoCast ID, my phone will say communicating with servers and will hang. It is then followed up with a message stating it is taking longer than expected, then a message saying Motocast has stopped running. Either it is a fluke on my phone, or a few dependencies may have been removed. Either way, Excellent Job on the ROM.

Yea, I tried that last night and got the same results as you... EXCELLENT ROM for sure but I miss my motocast!!!

I know I am about to get $!#7 on for support inside this forum, but I found a solution. Motocast replaced zumocast on the Razr. Zumocast is available in the market but not "compatible" with our phones. An app listed below it called "MC2 Internal" from the company ZUMODRIVE was listed. It does not have an icon and looked suspicious so i installed it. Looks like it was meant to be an internal release, but it allowed me to access my motocast that was previously setup on my computer. Apparently a few other people have found it as well. It is currently listed with 10+ downloads, lol. Good luck.

My data has been rock strong. What was your procedure when you flashed the ROM? You are on .211 or .214 right?

This is based off the stock 211 rom just gutted and deodexed so i could theme it. Data should be rock solid and as good as your going to get.. imo,

you can go into your system directory using a file manager, long pres on build.prop, open with text editor, scroll all the way down to the bottom (8 line up from the bottom) you can then change the system version to 214. hit the back button, choose save. reboot to see the changes.

anyone else having an issue with Webtop working without a dock? This is the first time I've attempted to use Webtop since flashing ICS (as far back at the initial release of 6.14.75) but didn't have any issues before. Nebtop is saying that the kernel isn't supported. Any known work around that doesn't involve my buying a dock?

Im going to have to let someone else answer this one.. i don't and haven't ever used Webtop.

I read somewhere that safestrap doesnt play nicely with Webtop. When I plug in the HDMI I get the webtop/screen mirror selection screen on my phone, but nothing on the TV. Its the little things... also Happy Birthday andlaw!

You no longer have to use a dock or nebtop with ICS... Just plug in your cable and it should give you the webtop option. Works flawlessly on my phone.
