Also it says beats audio is in here. What is it and how do you use it. I see no apps or anything that would indicate a way to use it.

In your app drawer you will see a BEATSControl, its a modified DSP manager for music apps.. some it has effect on others it doesnt (pandora)

The new gapps, bricked my phone. I am restoring to a nandroid back up now.

Kicking rear end, wiped everything and took it back to stock .211, up to .214, then flashed black widow and the new gapps, everything is running and looking good! One quick question, any way to black out chrome? If its easy enough to do myself, I'm down with that, just lemme know!

its not there to look pretty, its there to ensure you have a Non-corrupt download.

I honestly have not looked at the browser, i know you wont be able to black out the background.. but there are possibly some of the grey images that could be blacked out. When i find some time i will take a look into it and see if i can get-r-done.

only thing i can think of is maybe you have something to do with email frozen in Tibu ? if that is not the case, reboot to recovery, wipe cache and dalvik, flash the ROM. let it reboot, FC should be gone. Then you will have to go back into recovery and flash DarkGapps again but atleast the FC issue should be resolved.

nah i just flashed the .214 boot image for the kernel and its not causing me any problems.. if u dont use exchange go into system apps and add the extension. bak to the apk, or can just delete it. as long as you dont open anything that runs off it there wont be anything for it to FC.

weird though flashing the rom didnt fix the issue though

yeah that option is removed in custom roms.

and here is the easiest way for you who are already running a custom ROM and would like the kernel update.

• extract on desktop
• open the folder, click on the .bat file
• put phone into AP fastboot (power down, when its powering off hold all 3 buttons)
• plug phone into USB of computer
• run option 3
• power off phone and turn on, Profit.
