So here's a question. How can I get the dialer that is in the screen shots for the inverted mod? I believe that is the AOSP dialer with the numpad, recent calls, and contacts tab across the top. The one that I have, should be stock with this rom, only shows favorites for the top right tab.

I tried pulling Phone.apk from another rom, putting it in system, fixing the permissions, and rebooting, but I was unable to get any cell signal until I restored the original Phone.apk.

Just curious about it, love the rom but would like to get all contacts from the dialer, instead of just favorites to scroll through.

ok, so if i want to upgrade to newest safestrap i have to go back to unsafe stock rom, remove, install new version, and then re-flash this rom from scratch? i can't just move the safestrap folder to ext sdcard and switch back to safe side and load up you exisiting rom that i had?

well i hope gobackup works to back up some of my apps at least.

ok, so after booting into new safestrap and system restore, wiped data, wiped cache, and wiped system, then reboot and repeat about 3 times it finally installed the simplex v1.3 rom. it hope this process gets a little better, lol. i know it's still beta.

what really sux is that i had to start all over from scratch to update the safestrap. i didn't want to take any chances so i fresh installed rom and all apps. i did use gobackup to get some of my apps restored but nothing system wise or game wise due to the fact that we have to alot data size to the rom slot. i luv the idea of this new safestrap and it is going to be better going forward, just have to go through a process on this. all working now so sweeeeeet back in action again.

Yes... you'll are doing it correctly. You have to start from scratch if you're updating ss. And no you can not restore a ss2.x backup on to ss3. x.

anyone fig out in new SS how to wipe bat stats? is shows dif bat % than in the rom.

Its reading battery stats differently which is why you'll notice a difference. I wouldn't be very concerned honestly. I will tell you also that myself personally... I have never wiped battery stats! I think some make more of a thing out of it then what it really is. Just charge to 100% and play ball!

Giving this ROM a try... so far, the few things that were not working for me in other ROMs are working well. Good job.

Its been a few days since the last post about the link being down and I am wondering what is going on with this. I get to around 20MB and then the download fails. I understand that he doesn't want this floating around since its beta, but you are not getting any additional exposure by having your one host constantly dropping connections.

Im assuming youre talking about safestrap?... if youre talking about Simplex the download is fine.. i havent seen or heard of any issues lately
