Instructions to remove some of the transparency.

Use the Simplex 1.2 and 1.3 zips.
Open both via 7zip. Navigate to and copy framework-res.apk from /system/framework/ from 1.2 to 1.3 replacing the updated framework. Reflash your modified Simplex1.3

Most of the transparency has to do with framework outside of some apps I had to modify for the effect.

Is there a way to darken/disable the transparency on the pull down notification bar as well? Or did 1.2 have the same trasparency? I cant remember.

awesome rom!.....I actually don't use it, i've unlocked my buddies razr like 5 times.....but the point is that my tech illiterate friend loves the rom, so i love the rom. props to the dev!!!.....if i wasn't worth $18 i would donate.....maybe soon

Found a minor bug. When loading it in the car dock with the screen off, the screen comes up in landscape with the lock up and camera down only. But when I unlock up it goes to the messaging app...

Like I said minor but I wanted to report in...

Cool thing I noticed while using this ROM was that if I kill Google Maps in running services it doesn't start back up on its own like it usually does.

I'll be honest like i always am. Lol. That is a bug I haven't figured out yet! I even went and bought a dock to test.. well i kinda left the dock in someones car over a month ago and haven't had time to go get it! Haha..

With the lockscreen possibly causing this issue, the issue with the music control buttons, and not being able to replace the mms shortcut with blur mms, I've found the stock lockscreen to be much better.
If anyone is interested, the attached will flash the stock .215 framework-res.apk and and android.policy.jar files which includes the stock lockscreen and stock non-transparency. Unfortunately, it also reverts the power menu to the basic options.

Overall, this is the best rom I have had on my razr, thanks for the great work EmericanX!

Firstly, thank you so much EmericanX for all your hard work! This rom is great, been running Simplex since 1.2 launched and I've loved it. Super simple, quick, and just all around awesome!

I just wanted to contribute a little something I made for you guys to try.
Here's what I wanted/did:
I wanted the lockscreen sms option to open my favorite 3rd party sms app.
When I couldn't figure that out, I removed it from the lockscreen all together. (see image)

I also really liked the Solid battery text
So I combined them into one Update.zip

I took framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk from the rom, made the subtle changes, recompiled and viola here it is.
Framework-res.apk: nulled 2 items in arrays.xml
SystemUI.apk : replaced sys_battery(1-100).png with the pngs from the v1.2 mod

This was really specific to what I was looking for out of this rom but maybe it will help someone out there
I reused the updater-script from EmericanX's battery mod's so it wipes /cache and dalvik for you
