Is there anyway to add a reboot option in the power menu?

I will update the camera icon as well! ;-)

EDIT: AOSP Icon BlurCamera.apk also available in second post.

Awesome man! Good to see you enjoying it! Probably should've done it from the start.. but i didn't want folks to think it was the AOSP camera. That's another hurdle in itself! Lol

As far as you're comment about being community oriented.. I honestly try to be! I try to stay as open and helpful as possible all the way around! So thanks!

Any special instructions for flashing this if I'm already running Arctic ROM?

EmericanX, just one word for this ROM--WOW! It's beautiful, smooth, and the rendering of all application windows look superb. Great job!

You won't regret it. I've tried a few other ROMs, and this is my favorite so far. It's vanilla ICS with just the right touch of Blur. I really can't wait to see what else Emerican does with this ROM, though honestly, once he puts the ring/vibrate switch on the lockscreen, I'll consider it perfect.

It seems pretty smooth and the UI has some nice elements. I'd say my one disappointment so far is that none of my apps downloaded from the Play Store when I synced my Google account. Trying to restore all of them one by one is a pain.

Very odd. The BlurCamera i posted separately shouldn't need any permissions changed! Ill have to double check the updated ROM download to find out whats going on there. If you absolutely need that to work for the time being you can pull the gallery2.apk from the rc and place that in your /system/app... I overlooked it during update! The initial blurcamera was setup for gallery2 not googlegallery... but i updated the rom last night so it should've resolved it.

EDIT: I've posted a link to a BlurCamera.apk that I have personally tested and can confirm working!!! Tested just before upload. You can find it on the second post of this thread.

Still having no luck with the camera.

2 questions/observations

My system/app has an apk called "gallerygoogle". As part of my troubleshooting I tried to install it and got "x Application not installed"
I removed the blurcamera.apk, replaced with the AOSP apk, renamed and checked the app drawer. I still have the old lens as an icon

So am I not doing something right? I tried both just copying and launching the app from the drawer and copying/installing and then launching the app. Nothing seems to work and I keep getting "media gallery not installed"

You may have ended up with 2 blurcamera.apks... possibly but i ran into that during testing. GoogleGallery.apk is the correct gallery for the latest release of Simplex. I would delete any blurcamera you see in /system/app then go to check in the app drawer to make sure its gone. Then copy in the aosp icon blur camera app, which is patched to googlegallery.apk as well.

Once you go back to the app drawer you should see the new icon! And it should work from there. Its sounds as if theres some kinda mix up in your /system/app directory... just be sure that before you copy in the patched blurcamera that there are no traces of blurcamera from your app drawer!

Fastest ROM thus far using Linpack. Very smooth. Looking forward to giving it a nice break-in next few days. Thanks EmericanX!

You were right! I removed the blurcamera.apk from system/app, checked the drawer and the camera app was still there! So I went back and removed it again, checked that this time I had nothing in the drawer and installed first the blurcamera.apk and then tried the same thing with the AOSP camera. Unfortunately, both times the camera icon is the lens and both times I can't link the gallery. I didn't realize how much I use that button til now!!

This Rom is just plain solid. If I had or have a problem it is always my doing. VERY dependable. Data is always there. Lean & mean. Thanks again EmericanX.
