Btw. I don't know if you're aware of it or not. But go to the market and check out MasturMOD settings. It offers other battery icons that I can confirm working. Enjoy! :-)

Lol. That's due to over writing SystemUI with both mods. I'm hoping to get some time over the weekend to prepare updates to the mods. I will have both stock and aosp signal clusters available with each battery icon. That should offer plenty to choose from!

Hey guys, wondering what governers the majority of you guys are running? I have not messed with that yet and I'm getting just a little lag in the browser and wondering if adjusting that would make a difference. I'm clocked at stock. And do I need to reboot in order for that governer to take effect? Thanks!! SIMPLEX FTW! Now that I know what that means!
You don't need to reboot for a governor to take effect. Hotplugx and sio is a good combination for performance an battery

+1 on hotplugx and sio combo. That's what's given me the best results.
Do you have "force GPU rendering" in developer settings enabled? Maybe it's just in my head but that seems to help apps perform a little smoother for me.

hey everyone i just wanted to say i love the round battery mod...and i also prefer the stock 4G Signal bar mod, i have tried flashing the battery mod but it changes the 4G signal bars back to the ROM style.....and i also tried flashing the Stock signal bars mod and it changes the battery back to stock lol.....any ideas?? i guess I'm spoiled by all the goodness in this ROM and i love the way the stock signal bars look with the round battery haha

I can give you the steps that I used to do exactly what you are describing (see post#1499). Please make a backup of your current system before you flash anything, just in case.
Using winrar or 7z, open up the zip file containing the battery icons that you want to use (in your case it would be Round_Style_Battery_SimplexROM.zip).
Navigate to, /system/app/systemUI/res/drawable-hdpi. Extract the drawable-hdpi folder to your desktop. Find all the image files named stat_sys_battery followed by a number that represents the battery percentage. These will be the files you will be using to replace the files in the Simplex-SignalCluster-Mod.zip.
Download the Simplex-SignalCluster-Mod.zip, open it using winrar or 7z.
Navigate to, /system/app/systemUI/res/drawable-hdpi. Find the image files named stat_sys_battery and replace them all by multi-selecting and dragging and dropping the image files you previously extracted from the Round_Style_Battery_SimplexROM.zip.
If you wish you can do the same for the stat_sys_battery_charge, stat_sys_battery_charge_animfull, and stat_sys_battery_full. If you choose not to replace these files, when you charge your phone or when it reaches full charge you will have the original battery icon images from the Simplex-SignalCluster-Mod.zip.
Once you've replaced all the files, rename your zip file to whatever you like, place it on the root of your sd card, boot into recovery, MAKE A BACKUP, wipe cache and Dalvik, flash your zip file, reboot, profit! I'm sure there's an easier easy to do this but that's what worked for me.

I am actually, it forces to a complete reboot actually, thought it was just me so I didn't complain. I noticed it was usually when taking photos for me.Anybody having issues with the phone just rebooting itself on this ROM?

thanks for the instructions! i remember doing something like that on my Droid X a few years ago to change the color of my slide lock on the lock screen...but this seems a little easier cuz back then i had to use photo editing system to re-draw the slide lock with new colors lol....atleast this time the icons have been made already by our MC Emerican!!
haha thanks man! I'm gonna make this my project for today!
