I've received my replacement and pretty much got my build environment set back up! SparkyMan is working with me on an update so expect the next release to fly!

I have to brag EmericanX... OG RAZR, with custom CPU script and smart actions setup. This pic is from only a 90% charge and moderate use. This is why I come back....

I could....I will say some of that included no use for 3-4 hours. And I haven't had issues with this script, but your phone may. I run it using Rom toolbox pro in the scripter that it has. I wouldn't set it to run on boot until you know for sure there are no issue. I also use CPU sleeper.

echo 0 300 960> /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
echo 1 600 990 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
echo 2 800 1010 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
echo 3 1000 1070 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
echo 4 1300 1280> /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu

Hey EmericanX, on your next ROM and or update, could you put an option to change toggles. As in data,Bluetooth,brightness...stuff like that.

Yeah, I was thinking "He would be a god if he can put customizable pulldown toggles in to a ROM!" I looked into it, and it ain't easy. :)
Not saying you couldn't do it, because with enough time I know you could, just is NOT easy.

Hi X,

Just wanted to point something out. The lockscreen wheel "up" movement is linked to a system app called mms.apk. That relationship cannot be broken. For those of us who also use the blur app messaging.apk (for iphone group messaging needs), this presents a problem. If we leave both apps, all incoming messages will be duplicated. If we remove the mms.apk, the "up" motion on the lockscreen will reboot the phone. A workaround is to use GoSMS, which groups identical messages, sent within a short time frame. However GoSMS doesn't work well with swype anymore :) I gave up trying to swype texts on GO as it's very annoying to correct misspelled words( the cursor keeps jumping to the beginning of each word). So bottom line: I am sticking to using blur sms app (or handcent maybe), removing GO and the stock mms.apk. I'll just have to be careful not to reboot my phone on the lockscreen every time! Maybe the update should not have a firm relationship between lockscreen gestures and apps?

Im in the same boat. My freinds are all Iphone lovers, so I have to use blur to chat with them. I just swype the lockscreen to right to unlock and not bother selecting the mms

I haven't yet figured out a good way to make the hot seats adjustable. But I have discussed this once before. If you want to use the stock Blur messaging app there is an easy alternative to leave on board. Should just be able to go into the mms app and turn off auto receive or notifications. That way if you need to send a quick text the hot seat is there on the lock screen but your primary messaging could be done via the blur app... hence giving you the group messaging. I have not tested this so give it a try and let me know.

Unfortunately, I haven't figured out a way to get rid of the duplicate texts any other way. The removal of auto retrieve and notifications was not helping. Did anyone have luck there?

I know the Go lockscreen had somewhat of an ability to adjust the hot seats. It wasn't very well thought out though and not easy to figure out,

I think the lockscreen is a minor issue for me. As long as I can get good battery life and speed, Im willing to unlock the lockscreen to check my messages instead of using the mms hot seat . Give keep the good work X :)

Um, as far as duplicate messages go, you can disable notifications and what not in the app settings...

I keep flashing to Droid HD Non-Soft because I like the Circle widget, but within a day, I'm always back to Simplex. It's smoother, faster, drains my battery far, far less, and I don't have to use the Blur text messaging app (which bothers me for reasons I can't understand/explain).

I am sot sure if you know but there is an app very similar to the circle widget, it is called Rings Digital Weather Clock
