I noticed on this rom that i have to reboot my phone about every 6hrs because my ram is being taken up by something... anyone else have this issue that knows a solution? Thanks!

I keep flashing to Droid HD Non-Soft because I like the Circle widget, but within a day, I'm always back to Simplex. It's smoother, faster, drains my battery far, far less, and I don't have to use the Blur text messaging app (which bothers me for reasons I can't understand/explain).

very odd... I almost never turn my phone off! So i'm thinking it could possibly have something to do with an app?? maybe?. Have you installed anything new before noting the issue?

Nothin that i havent had on any other rom... ive never had my phone lag this horribly...

Seriously though... I'm not sure what the issue could be on your end. With a ton of downloads of Simplex and only one report of lag I think I'll have to put it in the not all phones like all ROMs pot. Not that I'm blowing you off... just not sure how to narrow down what the issue may be. You could maybe pull some logcats and shoot them my way to see if anything g stands out

The only thing I get lag on is, the keyboard and lockscreen music controls. I think they keyboard lag may be partly due to the vibration on keypress, but im not sure. I like the vibration, I only wish there was a way to tune it down a little.

Other than that, This rom is my DD. So stable, and functional. After flashing other roms, I always end up coming back to this one. So thanks for that.

Sorry if I missed something, but I searched around and just want to confirm: this won't work on the OTA ICS rooted? I have to go back and install leak instead?

I ask because I tried and the result is puzzling: it appears to install successfully but then boots up into a fresh install of a previous ROM???

Again, my apologies if this is clarified somewhere in the thread already. I'm browsing on my phone and we know how that goes...

Lol. That is odd! It should work on ota when flashed via safestrap. Now as to why you boot to a fresh install of another ROM..... no clue! I've had stranger happen before! Wipe data and reboot to a default wallpaper from 4 ROMs back.. haha

I couldn't agree with that statement more. I tried one of the HD roms for a bit and frankly, I don't see what all the hubbub is about. The circle widget doodad is cool, but it eats battery. Most ROM's I've tried don't hold a candle to Simplex, IMO. Great job E, looking forward to more of your work.

Wow. Ok, so I figured it out. Yeah, apparently I DIDN'T have Safestrap v2.0 installed, but thought I did (had an older version, it seems). Sorry about that. Looks great now, thanks for your hard work!

Tried all the JB roms that are out, but had to come back. This has everything i need and runs my custom scripts. Excellent work, cant wait to see what comes when you get your computer.
