How do you take a screenshot with this rom? Holding the power and volume down buttons does not work on my phone; it just eventually reboots my phone.

I just hold the power & vol. down buttons about 1sec.

Just in case anyone is reading this trying to decide on whether to use this rom or not - headphone problem was my fault. LOL - reflashed, wiped everything 20 times, still didn't work - come to find out I had lint in my headphone jack - Simplex really is perfect!

This is by far the best and most stable ROM that I have flashed so far! Trust me I have tried a lot of them but this one is awesome! I am currently underclocked at 1Ghz and my battery life has been simply amazing!
Thanks to EmericanX for building such a great ROM for the Razr, hope to see some great stuff soon!

i am noticing random crash while overclocked and playing video with MX Player. Just an FYI. When I run under normal cpu all is perfect. This could be an issue with MX PLayer but I not sure. Thought I'd post just in case there may be a fix. Also i haven't tried but wondering if underclock would work or would be random issues with certain apps too. All in all this ROM is beast. Thx EmericanX

Loving this ROM now that I figured out how to get the blur text messaging app integrated on it. Let me know if you need help getting it on yours. It was simple with Rom Toolbox Pro. However, you won't be able to use the lock screen text messaging icon.

Indeed: GREAT Rom. Having been spoiled with the Gnex and it's great selection of custom Roms, this is the first one I have tried since switching back to the Maxx that makes me feel good about my decision to switch. Nice and snappy, most of the features I want, Data and Bluetooth work, and above all: STABILITY. Very nice. I have been settled on this one for a few weeks now and that's a rare thing. Thanks Dev!

EmericanX: were you going to be working on that stock battery and symbols mod? i thought you said you were a while back but didn't see a follow on it. i think someone requested one with solid battery and the stock .211 status bar icons for 4g LTE and battery etc without the %'s. that was my take on it anyways. if so i'd like to second that and ask you to make one if not too much trouble. thx, this ROM is the best. haven't looked at another ROM yet, this one is it. that is until you come out with a jellybean one, lol.

Has anybody used supercharger script with this rom? I haven't used the newer versions for ics that mods the services.jar but it appears if you don't after a dalvik wipe or you power down the device the ram settings revert to stock. I thought at first this was a init.d issue but apparently its not. Just curious if anyone was successful using the supercharger script?

This ROM has the best battery life! Just hit 36 hours with moderate use and at 13%!!

I've tried two times to get this rom and it won't flash. I downloaded simplex rom on my other laptop and now on this one and both times I wipe/resetdata, cache partition, dalvik, format, go to flash and get an error saying bad and aborted. only thing I can think of is maybe it doesn't like safestrap 2.0? I've flashed about 5 or 6 roms with no problems so far so not sure what's wrong.

I can verify that it's not SafeStrap, as numerous people (myself included) have flashed it with no issues. Try downloading it directly onto your phone and installing it that way - I had luck with that.

Is the stock side of safestrap on ICS?

Was kinda wondering why when im in landscape in my car dock. every time i unlock my screen it takes me to text messaging? lol

When I disable safe system, yes it will boot in stock ICS

It worked when downloaded straight on my phone. It automatically saves to internal /download/ but it works thanks for the help guys

Yeah, that's my fault. I should've told you to move it to the root of your external storage so it would be easier to find. My apologies.

Now for a question of my own - does this ROM support ext2, ext3, and/or ext4 partitions on external SD cards?

This is a known issue and EmericanX is working on the fix for it.
