Yea so I was wondering, I downloaded the Simplex Rom 1.2 the other night and then tried installing;

Download Inverter Duty - SimplexROM - v0.1 -

I don't know if this was a joke or what the deal with my phone was but after I installed it, it wouldn't boot all the way (bootloop?) and then when I restarted, it gave me a message telling me it was "preparing to brick" and was "deleting 196 or some files".

I took it as a joke and thought I'll get some experience on how to unbrick my phone tonight. After it was done "deleting" my files, everything seemed to come up fine with the exception of the keyboard.

So I'm just wondering.... Was that normal?

I actually LOVE softkeys, they just look so out of place on the RAZR :/. Also I just flashed your ROM, this is the best thing ever

Is anyone successfully overclocking with the toolbox supplied with this rom? Everything is great I really like the speed when it's overclocked but I get hot boots randomly.

I've run the faster OC since day 1 on Simplex and haven't had any issues at all.

You did not install my rom or theme and get that message! I know pf a certain themer that does that though... lol.

But please make sure you have not crossed something up along the way. If you got any of those messages after installing just what I've released something is not right.

I may kid... but i wouldn't have you thinking you just bricked! Lol

Ya I did two things when it happened. I tried installing the inverted apps.apks and had those on my sd cards. I deleted all the apks at the same time I installed the theme and that was the message I received.

Nothing wrong with the theme, I'm sure it was self inflicted. I do have another question and hopefully this is the place to ask it. For the inverted Gmail.apk, when installed should the icon be blue with everything else? Does it matter where you install apks?

Awesome! Good to hear you like the ROM. I actually did an miui port to the razr, forgot to hide the the soft keys and rocked them for a few days lol..

@shane You may try to adjust the voltage a tad... I'd go up a bit to test and go from there.

Yeah made these today Brad asked awile ago for them took a minute to find the hidden menu on blur. My good friend prestoro came up with some cool icons for them. We can post a thread in theme section.
