Ok, well. Only things that happened were I got logged out of my google account and dropbox accounts under accounts and sync. And before I rebooted a million things force closed.

Sad news is, when I docked and swiped to unlock it still brought me to the stock MMS app. It unlocks, but it doesnt take you to the launcher, just to MMS. So basically nothing changed. It's exactly as it was before.



Running Simplex V1.2 over .215 with battery mods. Nothing else special.

I know it works but I've added a new xml to try to fix the swipe to unlock/mms issue. I honestly am not sure what you're gonna get

Wait, if it's not the mms thing that you're trying to fix, just what were you hoping I'd find upon docking?Fwiw, the Nav dock is like 30 bucks in BBY. I find it worth the Money 100%

I'm trying to fix the unlock from dock scenario. Gotta do some more digging. I'm gonna get one over the weekend. I've been putting it off because I change phones every other day and I don't wanna buy one for each! lol. but if it needs tested it needs tested.. what else can I do....

Just wanted to give an update on the Google Now/battery life issue: I think installing Google Now on top of a ROM is a little like installing a new ROM. I installed Now on a fresh install of Simplex on Sunday, and on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, I noticed an additional 5-15% of battery drain during my work day (as I reported before). However, yesterday (and thus far today), I've actually seen BETTER battery life than I was getting prior to installing Google Now, which is odd and has no logical reason behind it, but my usage has stayed consistent with where it is on the average day. Yet I'm still seeing improved battery life, so I guess what I'm saying is: if you like Google Now, give it a chance, even if it drains your battery, because that aspect may actually get better.

Yea so I was wondering, I downloaded the Simplex Rom 1.2 the other night and then tried installing;

I don't know if this was a joke or what the deal with my phone was but after I installed it, it wouldn't boot all the way (bootloop?) and then when I restarted, it gave me a message telling me it was "preparing to brick" and was "deleting 196 or some files".

I took it as a joke and thought I'll get some experience on how to unbrick my phone tonight. After it was done "deleting" my files, everything seemed to come up fine with the exception of the keyboard.

So I'm just wondering.... Was that normal?

You did not install my rom or theme and get that message! I know pf a certain themer that does that though... lol.

But please make sure you have not crossed something up along the way. If you got any of those messages after installing just what I've released something is not right.

I may kid... but i wouldn't have you thinking you just bricked! Lol

Im guessing you probably had a different theme installed before the inverter duty?

Even if he had my theme first, inverter should have overwritten that. That is in the framework.

I know... im not sure wjat would've happened unless the wrong zip was accidentally selected during flash. I know ive done that! Haha
