most of the time it is a decent signal mainly 3g and when i get home it is between 3g and 1xrtt

Yup same here battery life isnt that great. its set for cdma and evdo moderate use and have great signal.

have you tried charge fully and wipe battery stats and then just run the phone till it goes completely dead then charge till full batter and repeat for about two days. usually that will fix any battery issues. but after that if you still having issues, i don't know what to tell you. i have been running this rom right now for 2 full days with a live wallpaper running and overclocked and i am currently at 45%. this is with moderate use of course but working awesome.

Just curious if disabling saves battery since we dont use function?

I personally didn't disable it. My modifications are covered under simplex... I will take a look at build.prop on the next update because i feel there is some room for improvements there.

Love this ROM. Just gave it a try after using Dualcore for a few week (which is long for me). I find it a tad slower than dual core, but that's the only knock. It's still really quick and EVERYTHING works. the first .211 with working hotspot out of the box. No forecloses. Beautiful.

i have tried to download this rom and can't seem to get it to open using 7zip not abe to flash it either not sure if its my computer so tried on another one and the samething does anyone have another link think it might be the download its self

It is under "Advanced" (in Safestrap)...Their are also market apps that will wipe battery stats for you as well

So the inverted sms app your posting will be able to have the pic appear in the status bar? Or do I need to do as someone suggested and get it from the other thread?
Also, for missed calls how would I go about getting the picture to come up there? I just hate seeing standard pics when I know I get see the contacts pic.

That is not featured in blur builds. I just flashed back to stock to make sure before I posted this. That said im not 100% sure what would need to happen to incorporate it.

Edit: you know right after i posted this I restored to my dark version of Simplex and got a text message... the contacts image showed up! Lol

What IO scheduler and govenor do you guys use? Im trying sio and hotplugx but my battery life seems worse. I think noop and interactivex have been the best.

I'm using pegasusq and it seems very good so far. I'm over clocked and getting good battery life.

Hotplug(x) and noop seem to give me the best performance (quadrant standard) and boostedassv2 and sio seem to give me the best battery life.
