I too love Nitro's work. I'm on Eclipse 1.3. Do you think I should make the leap to this one? I'm not satisfied with the battery performance on Eclipse.

I have been on Eclipse for like a month now. Version 1.0, 1.2RC1, and version 1.2 (I didn't even know there was a 1.3) and I will say, I looked EVERYWHERE for a rom I loved as much as Eclipse and I must say Simplex dragged me away. The functionality, the mods, the over clocking everything is top notch. If you like Eclipse you will like Simplex. I am currently using the over clock setting and my battery life is insane. I almost though my battery was miscalibrated but for 3 days now it's just been awesome.

Cheers Emericanx...this is a masterpiece. I love ROMs that people actually put together rather than just jazzing up a CM9 or AOKP build (no offense to the Devs who use those sources) and ROMs built from AOSP source are twitchy as hell.

Enjoy

Very odd... lol. This is the first I've had a report about that. I personally haven't attempted to download via chrome but i will look into it. I can promise you there's nothing in there to worry about unless you don't like an awesome ROM!!! Hahaah

Looks like Chrome is doing that with ZIP files... I didn't mean to cast any shadows ;-)

BTW... thanks for an AWESOME ROM!

Any reason why Blur dialer was used in this ROM? Its so silly that the contacts aren't easily accessed from the dialer. I know you can hit the search key... but its just silly.

Overclocked and you still are getting inside battery life? Does the overclock incorporate any undervolting or something?

Question sir, since you're online. Is there a problem with face unlock? Cause I set mine up for the first time tonight and the first time I tried to unlock face unlock FC'd and wouldn't let me put in my pin. Only a hard reset got me back to safety. Ever seen/heard about this?

I'm not really sure, you'd have to ask mr emericanx as he's the one who incorporated the script. He can tell you the deets. All I can say is I have had much much much better battery over Eclipse and that's with being OC'd. I can't imagine going stock or under clocked.

Have not seen or heard about it. It was functional on the last build so i will look into it to see if there is an issue. I changed gapps so there is a possibility there is an uncaught issue there..

Not sure if this has happened to anyone else, but I just moved to this rom, loving it so far, but it is giving me a "low on volume space" but I have plenty of internal storage. I'm not sure if this is rom related or not so any suggestions are welcomed.

Thanks

Check your internal and external storage space. Im guessing one of them is getting low. Backups take a good bit of space so it can happen before you know it.

the lockscreen - when on a dock, car or HD- landscape mode- to unlock the screen/phone you would swip up- it will unlock it but will take me to my Text message app.
Minor issue - but not sure if there's a easy fix...Me know nothing about Mod- just enough to flash it ...lol

on Google music- we have the soft key control once the lockscreen is on lock - not sure what it is called.. it allow you to go to next /previous or stop the music without having to unlock the phone - the Next soft button doesn't seem to register in Landscape mode (docked)

- not sure if this was mention on the previous pages or not. sorry if it did-

I dont have a dock to test on lol. I can try to look into it..

As far as the music control from lock screen. I am aware of it. Its persistent from previous versions! I thought i had it fixed this time.

Btw man. No need to apologize here! Im a user just like everyone else... and who actually wants to read 50 pages of post to see if something was mentioned or not! Lol. All i ask is everyone thoroughly reads the OP and the last couple of pages of post.

I repeat! No one needs to apologize here! Hahah

This is working as intended. You should unlock when swiping to the right whether in portrait or landscape.

No sure about your other issue

The only option i have is to swipe up or down and no option swipe to the right

If it work for you on a dock then maybe its just my phone
