Not sure why you would be having issues with data since this is based off of a moto build. I've changed absolutely nothing that would cause data drops. I will add that hasn't matter which device or which ROM I've had installed. Each have shown the symptoms you describe from time to time. The worst by far was the bionic! Which is why I no longer have that device... lol

Ok folks. I just want to update everyone on what I've been up to lately so you don't think that I've dropped support for the RAZR. I work in HVAC(Air Conditioning ;) ) so as you could expect with the heat alot of us have been dealing with lately I AM SWAMMPED! Outside of that I had picked up a new laptop due to limited storage on my previous one. It had a 128gig SSD and the largest it could've been replaced with was 256... which needless to say Android consumes alot!!! Especially with source building. Well this new laptop has for lack of other words been a chore to get linux running well on! It has fought me ever step of the way! lol. I'm am now happy to say everything seems to be running great and I've done atleast 3 source builds without a system hang!!!

This leaves my next bit of news. As of yesterday I am now a member of the Droid Concepts Team! Sparkyman, Davros, and myself will be working closely together on alot of different projects. Droid Concepts as a team will primarily be concentrating on source built devices, but that doesn't mean we will not continue work on our others. I will tell you that as of right now I'm on the fence with my RAZR development. I am not going to drop support!!! I cant stress that enough. I'm just trying to decide to continue with tweaking the Moto builds or switch to Source building(which I prefer) Either way I'm planning on doing something for the Razr very soon! :)

Awesome! Glad to hear...

I have a question though, related to development. What specs for a computer would you say are necessary for building roms? Would you mind giving me the specs of your computer?

Sorry for the hijack

Source is cool, but until someone can get webtop working I'm sticking with moto based ROMs. Can't let my $200 lapdock go to waste lol.

@Brad

I've gone through a few different setups within the last 2 months! Lol

Honestly its really all about the speed on which you want to compile. If you're doing baksmali builds such as Simplex(based on an official) you really don't need much horsepower. Anything you've got can handle the job. The same can pretty much be said about AOSP. Although the faster the processor and greater ram the faster it'll build! My current setup is an i7 with 8gigs of ram and a 1tb HDD. Hdd space really you want as much as possible! Lol. With this setup I'm compiling JB in around a half hour.

Its all about what you want to do and how fast you wanna do it is what it comes down to.

Thanks for the info. Im not gonna be able to afford a computer that nice, but an A10 with 6 gigs of ram should work then.

Which gallery does this rom use to view our pictures? I dislike the cluttered gallery that was on eclipse rom. Does this rom allow us to take pictures in 8MP? And how is battery life? I'm excited to flash this later tonight!

It uses the Google gallery for images. I've got no clue what nitro has used in Eclipse but knowing him its probably the same gallery. As far as 8 mega pixel yes. I am using the blur camera so there should be no lost functionality! I'm happy with the battery life needless to say... ;-)

Depending on how much you like blue, you could flash the blue theme I made for this. The lockscreen is blue in it.

I'm not really into themes but I really like the color of your icons (Handcent, Maps, Gmail). Is there a way I can extract some of the icons from the theme? Thank you.

Rom is snappy and I like all the bloat ware removed. Things that bugged me most was the picture gallery was. I don't like the clutter ness look to it. Also didn't like the constant google search bar on every page. I don't even use google search so it's useless to me. Other than that,, good rom!!

You can try a third party launcher like Nova or Apex. Both let you remove the persistent Google search bar.

Does this use the moto/blur weather widget or the AOSP News&weather widget?

The download link doesn't seem to be working for me. Is there another place to be able to download this ROM?

Nevermind got it working. Thanks
