The answer is you do not have a DROID RAZR HD or the files are wrong, that is why these are failing each and every time.

Don't know what to tell ya... it is failing pre-flash validation. That means it's not for your device or device's secure version #.

"Remote Fail" can mean your battery is completely dead and you need a factory adapter to flash the files; once you use the correct ones.

so your saying that could be the cause is that my phone is not picking up the battery

even though when i boot into safestrap it saying its picked up the charge and the percentage of the battery show its progress

Boot into AP Fastboot..... what does it tell you there .... also... what OS are you using? ....and are you using a USB 2.0 or 3.0..... and did you completely install the Motorola drivers before starting?

I'm not sure, but does it always show the BL info when you're in fastboot mode (it is the BL info on the third line, right?)?  I don't remember seeing that last time I was in fastboot on my phone.

Alright, so I seem to be having a similar issue with the xt912.  Encryption Unsuccessful, but I can't actually get into fastboot because my device is similarly locked.  How exactly was this fixed?  Is it the adapter that solved it?  I think I may have a different issue however because my is similar but states the batter is OK.  Any help would be appreciated.  I don't know if this thread is too old, but it sounded really similar to mine and didn't want to start a new thread if I didn't have to

You don't have to be unlocked to be able to boot into AP Fastboot ....you can get to AP Fastboot by powering completely off.. then hold vol down and vol up and power... use vol down to highlight Fastboot and then vol up to select it........ have you tried Matt's utility for your 912?

Was there ever a solution to this? I have the identical problem as seen above. Further, using Matt's 1.21 utility (option 2) shows:

Failed to hab check for recovery: 0x56

preflash validation failed for recovery

Try SamuriHL's RSD flasher or House of Moto.  Matt's utilities haven't been updated.
