i have tried downloading razr utility 1.7 numerous times and never get past 50%

I tried yesterday (the 26th) several times and didn't get that far. Today I'm at about 50% and downloading at 110 KB/sec. Can we get a mirror?

What is considered not a mass storage device? There isn't a charge only option

I'm still on Gingerbread. I have downloaded the 6.12.181.zip file and was wondering how to apply it. The instructions all appear to be for upgrading from one leaked version of ICS to another.

Thanks,

Matt,
I am having problems with the first steps. lol I put the zip ota update on the SD card (through mass storage device) I had debugger on but there wasn't an option to connect through debugger. And when I run the first option in your utility i get an error "The system cannont find the path specified" I ran the utility as an admin and still have this problem
Any help is appriciated. THANKS

Put the zip file on your external SD card. Don't unzip it. You will be using it on your phone to flash ICS. Use option 1 in Matts utility. Just follow the video in the OP and you won't go wrong.

Yes the video shows ICS, BUT those instructions will work coming from Gingerbread or the ICS leaks. :)

Hello Matt,
Thank you for this utility, has made my life much easier. I noticed that there is no longer a protocol to "unroot", like there has been in previous versions. Is this no longer an option or have there been no reliable methods found yet? I ask because I have had to unroot a couple times before I took my phone back to verizon for warranty stuff. Thanks.

Hi Matt,

I used ur utility to get my RAZR ICS ready, and it all seemed to go well. And I want to thank you for all your efforts to make upgrading and rooting my RAZR easy. But I am now noticing an issue that I'm not sure what causes it. My data is slower that sh*t, I pull up the Play store and frequently get timed out error because my data is that slow. Has anyone else noticed this issue?
