yeah lol

im no pro at all but i have flashed several of the other ics leaks and this one gave me the most trouble.

just saying

Yeah when I got my first razr i did a alittle flashing before that I was a flash acholic This was my first flash in a little while. And it was only because I didn't want to wait :P

And me either I am now where near a pro. I just tread very lightly and read like its going out of style.

it aborts the installation why>.>?

Sometimes you have to do it more then once.. 4-8 times reported remember to wipe data

I would hate to see you mess up your phone when ota is a few days away Maybe take habba's advice??

On another note I had to reboot all the way to lockscreen then go back into the stock recovery and flash the update kinda weird how it worked. If it wouldn't have worked after that I would have just waited for the over the air update. Not worth making this beast of a phone into a $600 paperweight especially when its my main phone

Do we rename the update file from 6.12.181 to 6.16.211?

I was on stock .181 rooted, I downloaded the update 211 zip and put it on my sd card. I then downloaded 1.7 utility and installed it on my desktop. I followed the steps in this utility, but, I did wipe data/cache in recovery and everything is great on the first time. Love it!

Just do option 1 on the utility, then reboot and try installing from recovery again. I had the same issue.
