This is the error I am getting after using the 1.7 utility and trying to load the zip from the sd card. Please help I have exhausted everything.

Same thing happened to me i had to do it like 5 times to get it to work, but i was on stock 181 had to go back to 173 then OTA to 181 then 211 update worked first try wierd.

Nope. Just shows the moto dual core logo for about ten seconds then goes black and does nothing.

Man thats no good. I know you prolly did but you wiped data each time you tried to apply update?? I am no pro but I wonder if using matts 1.6 utility to fastboot back to .181 will at least get your phone back up and running, Not sure if you read this but its directions to get onto .181

Yeah tried the 1.6 no go just error when trying...oh well guess I'll wait to here from matt if he has a fix.

Yeah what he said is your best bet try to get back to 181, can you get it into recovery mode? go to ap fastboot and then run mats utilty to go back to 181.

check every thing your doing make sure your not missing something, did you install the drivers ? etc

After unzipping the utility you should just run the "DroidRAZRUtility" I havent seen where running at as administer made any difference but maybe give that a try??

Power down
Press volume up + down + pwr
volume down to recovery volume up to select when dead droid comes up press volume up and down at the same time

Yep...I hope it was just the drivers waiting for them to download. I was already on .211 before I fubar so I hope this will fix it.

When you select it;) From the menu
Then connect usb cable

Perhaps better to wait for OTA ,you could really mess up yor phone.

Its amazing how much of a headache these little computers can become lol

Yes, for those of you that don't know the basics, wait for OTA. I was able to update using the method listed here, but you must read all directions included in the utility, and all the directions on the phone when you get to certain steps. Trying to quickly or hastily update without being patient or knowing the basics first will get you into trouble.

Now that I installed the 5.7 drivers it still says connect usb in fastboot....great

im no pro at all but i have flashed some of the other ics leaks and roms and this one gave me the most trouble.
