Yes I was, it wouldn't let me install the ROM unless Safe System was enabled.

After the install, do I have to leave Safe System enabled, or should I disable it? I disabled it.

you leave it enabled. Disabling it brings you back to the "non safe side" which is what you were running before enabling safe system.

Just enable it again and you should have Eclipse back.

This is running fine just wondering....it happens every 211 ROM I've flashed-after boot phone thinks it's connected to hdmi until I uncheck from settings/display hdmi connection.

Same here, it was solid as hell. I wasn't going to rush into upgrading to ICS, but now that Eclipse is here, count me in!! Now, I just need to see what's up with Safestrap. Never used it before!

Easiest methods would be FoxFi followed by SQLite hack. FoxFi is frighteningly straight forward. Look it up in market.

for some reason im not getting very good battery life on the rom compared to the arctic one. i can upload a logcat if need be.

But, is there a way to silence the camera? It seems to only have like 2 options, flash or size... I cant even find a macro mode..........

You can go back to stock system (non-safe) and use titanium backup. You can save all your apps/data and then restore it from the safe side (eclipse, in this case).
It saves the info on your sd, so it's a great idea to keep your main apps backed up if you flash a lot of roms.
I also use apex launcher which lets you save your settings the same way.
