Im new to rooting my phone. I just updated my phone to this rom and was able to create a backup successfully. I love how fast and responsive everything is without that bloatware

I have 2 questions:

How do I stay up to date with this rom? Does it update automatically when next new version comes out?

How do i back up my apps? So next time I intall a new rom I dont have to redownload everything

You will need to re-download and install a new update, However updates have been few and far between as everything is maxed out and working on our current ICS software.

Titanium backup will help you out with apps should you need to update or try a different Rom

im running eclipse 1.2 with .215 what apk files do i need to replace to get motocast instead of zumocast? i have the eclipse 1.1 so i can get files from there but dont know which ones thank you all for your help.

Is their a beta of 1.3? I signed up earlier this year to be a beta tester of this rom. I don't see any info on the eclipse rom website...

27 hours at 39% battery life left on Razr OG.

I just left data off and turned it on to check email about once an hour, and used google maps for a bit. I also had it under clocked to 300-800. I was happy with it.

This is the first rom I've flashed on my rooted razr maxx. (eclipse ics v1.2) Really happy with how responsive it is but a few bugs still. Im probably gonna get the stock camera back cuz it's functionality is better I.M.O. Been reading through a lot of the posts on here and it looks like still no response for re-theming some of the stuff that's hard to see like when adding a contact how it's kind of white on a grey back ground. I had to freeze the clock cuz it kept force closing and I didn't need that function anyway. I have smart keyboard pro and can't get it to work. Anyone using smart keyboard pro with this rom? Also I have safestrap, am I able to just disable safe system and boot back into stock rom with out losing this rom?


EDIT: Also Titanium backup is asking me if I want to keep my current andoid id or change it. Do I ignore this or update it?

Does any body else have issues with either camera ics+ or camera jb+ force closing when trying to record? It will work the first time after install, but when trying to record later it always force closes / "stops". UN installing and re installing fixes it, but.....that's no fun

Just tried it again and it stopped with 5 minutes to go....am i the only one with this problem?

what music player is in this rom? where can i find it?

The other values are in your build.prop and are coming from the Eclipse image. You can edit that and reboot if you want to make it look more "official" with the 215 values. I've left them alone as it doesn't affect the performance of the phone in any way.

Which part should i edit?
