Ok here's what I did to get the Dialer and Contacts from v1.1 back on.

Go into manage apps and clear data for Phone.apk and Contacts.apk after you clear data force stop those apps. Plugged my phone into PC in USB debug mode and performed adb push for the following:

adb push Phone.apk /system/app/Phone.apk

adb push PhoneAddons.apk /system/app/PhoneAddons.apk

adb push PhoneConfig.apk /system/app/PhoneConfig.apk

adb push Contacts.apk /system/app/Contacts.apk

adb push ContactsData.apk /system/app/Contacts.apk

adb push ContactsProvider.apk /system/app/ContactsProvider.apk

adb push ContactsSync.apk /system/app/ContactsProvider.apk

adb push ContactIce.apk /system/app/ContactIce.apk

restart the phone and presto you have Dialer and Contacts from v1.1. No need to run through install or anything. Additionally if you replace those files with WinRAR on the ROM before flashing it will work as well.

I must be a minority because I prefer the AOSP dialer. It displays Google Voice outgoing calls properly in the call log whereas the stock dialer would display the routing numbers.

No speed dial, not a fan of the color theme, when you go to your homepage and return to the call you get asked if you want the dialer or the call page (annoying), oh and did I mention no speed dial! In any case thank you eclipse for giving us more options and such a great ROM.

So I liked the moto dialer is there a way to get that back? I didn't have eclipse 1.1 I was on Arctic before. Is there a place to get the old apks?

How do I delete the sound file for the camera shutter? I am using 1.2 and I hate how loud this thing is and love my camera!

Today when I was toggling Bluetooth on before getting in the car, my phone rebooted. Haven't been able to recreate it since. Then is seemed like after disconnecting Bluetooth all sounds stopped working though the phone's speaker. No notification tones, and when watching a video on YouTube it was silent. A reboot fixed it. It may be a fluke, I've been on the road a lot today so it's hard to be sure when and how long audio was out.

Other than that, this ROM is solid. I'm really liking it.

anyone notice in 1.2 whenever you go to add a new contact the top box area is all white? it's kinda hard to see the contacts name and # because it is like this off white color that looks aesthetically unpleasing. anyone see this too or know of a fix?

My issue is that my bluetooth will sync with my truck but the music player will not start/restart automatically when connected like it would in stock or Artic

Nice catch. I posted a couple of times in this thread about color issues as well - the cyan on grey in the calendar detail screen is my issue. I don't think anyone here knows how to fix this, as no one has responded to your post or mine.

In the meantime, I am back on Verizon stock, as not being able to actually read the calendar detail is a showstopper for me. Maybe I'm the only one who has phone meetings?

You could always use Ninja Morph to edit the APKs to your liking.

snives true, i tried ninjamorph but learning what apk and exactly what to do is a pain. do you have any sugestions on what to do? the add new contacts bar is colored a very odd color where it's very hard to see the name. not a big downer, but definitely something that i'd like to see fixed.

A boot logo and a bootanimation are 2 different things. The boot logo is the red "M." The bootanimation is the droid eye. Which one are you trying to change?

it was the boot ani, i replaced the zip and i am all set. thanks
