"nah, you should be good."
This is regarding going from Eclipse 1.1 straight to Eclipse 1.2. I asked if we need a full wipe, he said no. A cache/Dalvik wipe should be sufficient. Hope that helps, have fun everyone!

I didn't think there was a difference between the twitter release and this one

Is this 215 kernel?

A ROM can't flash that. You have to update to that separately. This ROM is built on 211 code, not the code that came with the 215 leak.
I'm on the 215 kernel and radio and am running this fine.

Now about the AOSP Dialer and Contacts. Am I missing something or does AOSP DIaler not have speed dial? I couldn't seem to find a way to setup speed dial numbers. Is it at all possible to revert back to the moto dialer by simply replacing the dialer app? Also kind of like the look of the blur contacts... would it be the same deal to get the blur contacts back on and do I have to copy over the sync and other contacts related apks?

Does anyone know how to put the stock 3g/4g icons back? I like the simplicity of the AOSP ones... but they're just too damn small. Can't always tell if I'm on 3G or 4G.
The 1% battery mod in the OP of the Arctic ROM thread works well to restore the original icons, and also gives a nice battery icon. It kills the toggles, though. (I use Notification Toggles from the Play Store anyway.)

I'm having an issue with the music lock screen control being unresponsive. I have to tap it a few times to get it to work. Anyone else having this issue?

Damn my bad, I didn't see that anywhere, I'm usually pretty good about reading through the threads. Thanks for the suggestion.

...yeah... um, What is RC1? ...hehe
Reason I ask is cause I have been rockin your Eclipse 1.2 twiiter launch since day 1!!! love it... don't know that I want to "upgrade" if the only difference is the RC1. Is this difference beneficial to me?

I'm looking at the Notification Toggle app, but not sure I'm liking it. I'll give it a shot, thanks.

One of the iKream battery mods may work, and I think they have toggles and original 3g/4g icons. Not sure of any of that, though.

someone a few posts back said you could install v1.2 over the 1.2rc1 release you got a while back. and only need to wipe the caches. so you have nothing to loose. nitro himself said that the earlier release or 1.2rc1 was different than this new one. i would @$$ume there are bug fixes or enhancements of some kind.

RC stands for release candidate. What you downloaded from twitter was an early pre-release (RC) of v1.2. This is the final build of v1.2 with all the bug fixes and tweaks worked out. You have something that was used for beta and not a final release version so you should definitely update
