Been on this ROM for a few days now...gotta say it looks awesome and works great. Thank you so much Nitro!

I'm tempted to try v.1.2, is it as easy as adding the Zip, wiping data through recovery, and installing from zip to upgrade? Sorry for the noob question. I'm still pretty new to this scene.

Just like flashing a new ROM. You may or may not need to wipe data. Ask around. I'd do it just to be safe.

Good Job, Love this. Just one suggestion, it will be better to have reboot on that power menu.

Only the AOSP roms have that feature at the moment. It usually takes a little while for that stuff to find its way into a stock based rom. Somebody will likely introduce the feature soon (he says with crossed fingers) but, for now, may I recommend an app I use quite often? It's called Quick Boot. There's a free version which should suit your needs. I actually find myself using it more often in many cases because it's easier to integrate into your own personal setup, without the need for any long-pressing or waiting.

Bug Report

After using this rom for 2 week, I had to go back to stock because of html5 support. As flash video is practically non-existent on ICS, i was looking for a way to view HTML5 video. Here is what I found:

I used this site to test

1. The built in browser works 50% of the time but its inconsistent(usually works the first couple of times but when yo uexit out and come back in it stops working.

2. Chrome fails almost all the time after working for the first time.

I reverted back to stock and chrome and the built in browser started working ALL the time.

You should use Dolphin Browser. There is a beta that has HTML5 support in it and it's the fastest browser out there for HTML5.

Point your mobile phones browser to this url to download the latest beta with HTML5 support:

Hey guys just wanted to say that i am enjoying this ROM and thanks for the time put in to make it for us.

I do have a couple things that i have noticed and was wondering if anyone has a solution. first, i can get the phone to start sending picture messages, but it never completes the process. when i go back to the message it just says "sending" and the recipients never receive the message. i have tried a simple restart and toggling data and whatnot. any suggestions?

also, i have never had any dropped calls on this phone until i flashed this ROM and have had several since, not sure if this could be ROM related or not but i was in an area that normally has good service.

Thanks in advance.

I had this problem as well. I've never used a diferent text message program so I was unsure how to try to see if that fixes the problem. Since I send many pics via text message I flashed back to iKream hopeing that it is fixed in the next version. Once I sent a pic via text message durring the day and forgot about it. Later at midnight the person received it and was pissed cuz I had send a text so late, heh.

Edit: I had fastbooted back to stock 211, moto-recovery to 215, safestraped, then flased this doing the usual backups and wipes.

Hey guys im sorry if this is an old question and there are answers else where in the forums, but i was wondering about the benchmarks on this rom. Is there a link or does anyone have the benchmarks for the razr xt912 running on .215 kernels and what not.

again sorry if this is elsewhere i just really did not feel like searching for them at this time.

Hi nitro, this may be a long shot... but I'll ask anyway...

I was wondering, would you consider integrating a patch which allows users to use the privacy program PDroid? Or, alternatively, would you be willing to share your source code so that other developers who are working on PDroid patches can make one? Although PDroid is, itself, designed for GB, some folks at XDA have made it work with ICS, have a linux-based patcher (there is also a Win 7 one)...

If you say no, I understand. But just thought I'd ask. :)

What version of swype does this rom have on it? Also is there anyway to get it flashable or back on my phone? I hate the beta swype and this one runs so much better!

Try extracting the swype.apk from the eclipse zip file, and install it on your phone. You'll have to uninstall the previous version of swype before you can install the newer one. What I'd do is, copy the current swype's apk from /system/app and place it somewhere on my sd card so I can re-install that version again if I run into problems.

I had that issue on gb. Installing "go sms" fixed it for some reason

So upon recommendation and instead of reading 88 pages I would like to ask if there is an issue with posting status updates on facebook with eclipse or .215. Everytime I try to post one fb crashes.

I'm on 215 running eclipse 1.1. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling facebook to no avail.

I just installed .215 and am currently re-flashing eclipse. Once I am all set up I will give this a shot and see if it errors for me as well...stay tuned

Ok so just got eclipse installed running .215 kernel, and I can update my facebook status with no issue. Did you wipe /data and cache/ when you installed all of this?
Here is what I did, I was on eclipse already but on .211
I used Matt's utility to restore back to stock .211
rooted using Matt's utility
booted into .211 installed voodoo, backed up root temp unrooted
flashed .215 in stock moto recovery
booted into .215 and re-rooted with voodoo
flashed safestrap, installed safestrap
booted into safestrap
enabled safesystem
wiped data cache and dalvik cache
actually went into mounts and storage and formated /system and /cache (dont think this is necessary)
installed eclipse
dl facebook, status update, great success.

How can I get group messaging so that all of my text messages for a group message will show up in one thread? Other than that, this ROM is perfect! Great Job!
