It doesnt matter what it's based on at this point. If you have installed .215, then you're on the .215 kernel and latest radios. On this phone, no matter what rom you flash you'll always be on the base kernel and radio because they are signed and unflashable.

I've been on Eclipse 1.1v also Arctic and now I've tried Eclipse 1.2v and I've noticed that my 4g and the battery are incredible better for some reason on Eclipse 1.2v but I do like the look of the phone and contacts also the camera that works very well in the Arctic rom. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I can get them on the new Eclipse Rom either through a .zip or a apk.

Well I can tell you the camera will be a tricky one unless you move the gallery from arctic over as well since the camera is usually patched to work with the gallery that comes with the rom. Unless the two roms use the same exact googlegallery.apk then in that case you can just move the camer into system/app folder. As far as phone and contacts I imagine it would be moving the apk over into system/app but I could be wrong and this could cause problems.

thanks for the tips I just did the camera and the Gallery but the phone and contacts have a few apk's and I don't know which ones to do any suggestions.

Also, does v1.2 have the ICS camera added back or the BlurCamera?

It has the ICs camera, which is still stuck at only 5mp or lower :/ I personally cannnot stand it and must use the Blur camera! I'm hoping the camera gets fixed across all the roms soon though.

I'm went into arctic and I'd the apk's for the blur camera and the 3d gallery of this rom. The link to 1.2vrc is a few pages back.

True, will try that. Did you add the apks to the zip file or did you just install them after you flashed Eclipse?

What I did is flash eclipse 1.2rc1, rebooted and deleted the camera.apk (i think it was a simple name like that) and gallerygoogle.apk, rebooted, then copied the blurcamera.apk and com.android.gallery3d-2.apk to /system/app. Once there I clicked each of those apk's to install.

Now i'm not saying thats the correct way, but its the way that I did it and the camera functions correctly.

Nitro, i just wanted to say i've tried every ROM i can get my hands on, but i always come back to yours. you have the most polish on the most solid ROM out there, i can testify to that. keep doing what you do and try and keep us in the loop. Thank You.

Been on this ROM for a few days now...gotta say it looks awesome and works great. Thank you so much Nitro!

I'm tempted to try v.1.2, is it as easy as adding the Zip, wiping data through recovery, and installing from zip to upgrade? Sorry for the noob question. I'm still pretty new to this scene.
