Can I flashed Eclipse Rom 1.1 based on the .211 being on Arctic Rom .214 with the .214 kernel leak and if so would it basically flash Eclipse the same way that I flashed Arctic by placing Eclipse on my external sd card, enabling safe system in Safe Strap, wiping all the things that need to be wiped and then flashing he Eclipse Rom that is on my external sd card? Any response and help would be appreciated I'm still very new to flashing Roms, thanks.
Yes, this will work even after flashing arctic. Just do pretty much like you described. Wipe everything then flash the eclipse ROM.

i flashed the 1.2 and ended up going back to the 1.1 due to a few little things overall it was still just as good. i do wish that I could get the screen shot option when I hit the power button that would complete this app imo
Sirwillysc, I'm running the 1.2 build. I'm curious, what caused you to go back? Did you have to wipe data to go back?

I like using an alternate font for my phone. However not all of the fonts are the one I selected in the ROM toolbox. Or I have used other font changers and same issue. Some fonts are remaining stock. Any ideas?
TIA

Font changers, as well as Rom Toolbox, only change the device's main font - not its only font. I usually change the primary font the easy way, using RT, then go back and manually change the others to my liking. If you go to "system/fonts" folder, you'll see all the fonts. The only ones I ever worry about though, are the Roboto fonts (regular, bold, italic and, bold-italic), as well as AndroidClock (I see no true difference between the 3 clock fonts in there, other than name). You don't have to change all the variations of these fonts but, I would recommend changing as many as you can, with their replacement counterparts. For instance, if I replace Roboto with Helvetica, I also try to replace Roboto-bold with Helvetica-Bold, and so on, with as many of the counterpart fonts as I have available. The two main things to remember when making these changes though: 1) Make sure to rename the replacement fonts to PRECISELY the name of the stock font, to be replaced! 2) Make sure to change permissions to "rw-r-r" (First row- check boxes one and two. Next two rows - check only the first box) after moving them! These are very important steps. Failure to comply will result in a feature length boot animation marathon and, ultimately, restoring your backup. Very easy stuff here though and, you'll have a seamless font change.
I have a tutorial on manually changing system fonts over on xda. It's written for the Thunderbolt on Gingerbread but, it's the same principle. It's more detailed in description. Maybe it could help someone in our RAZR community as well.

I just got a pair of LG Tone Bluetooth stereo headphones for phone & media.
I noticed that when I was in the native Music app, the following function buttons did not work:
Pause/Restart, FF / REW.
Volume & phone oriented were fine.
When in Amazon MP3 Player, the Pause / Restart worked, but not FF / Rew.
However, when I disabled the safe side & rebooted into nonsafe side, I went into native Stock 211's My Music app & all of the function buttons worked as advertised.
The idea to check on the stock system came fm the dev of the app SoundBest Music Player. In his docs, he said that the app wouldn't work with 'private' roms (my semi-quote marks).
Once in stock - the FF & Rew worked & unfortunately, it seems that Eclipse ICS 1.1 is the culprit.
Please advise, & tia, looking fwd to hearing that a fix won't be hard…

@nitro, I've found a bug w/Eclipse ICS 1.1 that has real life confirmation.

Then try using the stock moto player on eclipse. Does Amazon work right on stock? Does Google play music work right with it on stock?

I have been using the ROM for a few days now and I have to say I really love it. No bugs at all. This works a lot better than the stock. Lighter and much faster. Is any update on the way? Or new features to be added? It will be awesome. Thanks for providing us this ROM. Cheers.
Probably have one more update and then bug fixes. Everyone just kept kanging my work and it sucked the fun out of doing anything for this phone. So I would not expect much more as far as major releases are concerned.

sure do, I'm also an old hand at sbf & now fastbooting via Matt's utils, & Eclipse is the 3rd rom I use regularly; but I just don't know how to get a file out of stock in nonsafe side & bring it into safeside…
thanks & don't look at what the kangers have done as anything other than flattery, b/c imitation is _the_ sincerest form of flattery…
it may be frustrating - but it means that they recognize the value of what you have made.

Is there anyway to get rid of the black backgrounds when reading google voice emails or replying. To Much Black can it be changed to white.
For any app that's in the Play Store just delete the version you have with TiBu or something, then download the light version from the Play Store. That should do it for you.

Well this is a huge let down. Your development has been flawless on my phone and I bet many others echo this statement. Many thanks to providing us a great rom.
