Ive been using DSP on the 1.0 an my music player is Ubermusic.. Ive had no issues...

Ubermusic is a local music player. Does not stream. DSP works with it.
For example winamp is a local music player as well as an internet music streamer. Because of that it does have it's own eq.
Hopefully somebody that knows to explain better than me would join this one.
What I know is:
overall android - everything that comes out of the speaker/headset/BT no matter the source
local - listening only to local music sources (SD internal, external and maybe streamed from local computers but not internet)
Gurus please correct me if I'm wrong.

This rom is amazing. Tried quite a few other roms and had significant 4G issues. This one has no issues whats-so-ever. Plus the feel of this rom is incredible. Thought I was gonna miss my Galaxy Nexus with all the rom possibilities. Never been happier.

Flashed a few hours ago. Enjoying it. No complaints. Just wish we could get a 4g toggle in the drop down.

I do wish that you could give us the option to change the notification volume to the same as ringtone, display only contacts with phone numbers, and change the lock screen apps. screen brightness (customizable would be even better) in the drop down wouldn't be bad either

Any way to change lock screen shortcuts? I use go SMS, and the lock screen goes to stock messenger. I could delete stock SMS and replace with go SMS as a system app, but might run into problems with auto retrieving.. Hmm

This would be helpful for me as well as I use Handcent and not the stock messenger.

I use widget locker as my lock screen. It has an ICS lock screen and you can customize all the points on the ring. In fact, you 8 points on the ring, rather than 4.

Here's a screenshot of how I have it set up. As you can see, I can also add other widgets to the lock screen as well. I have my Fancy Widgets and PowerAmp widgets on the lock screen as well.

I mean there's always awful battery life after flashing a ROM. It settles after a day. I just can't stand to see my Maxx drain so fast.

I have an app called Mctweaker that can save battery life and tweak the kernel build props. etc.

Hey guys, i been getting duplicate text messages on this rom. Anyone else having the same problems? I read that I need to uncheck the full timestamp in the settings in the main message app and that did not work. Any other ideas will be much appreciated.

Here is some math. 86% after 3h is 4.66% per h which will give you aprox 22h in the 1st day of flashing. Really don't see any reason to complain here.

I wiped all again, reloaded. Trying winamp, music, google music.......... no impact on sound under any conditions. This isn't a huge deal, but I do like to have all my stuff working.

I think I'll head back to .211 on non-safe side, once again, and see if problem exists there. I'll report back again!

EDIT 1: back on .211 stock - google music equalizer works perfectly............... heading back to safe side............

EDIT 2: ON 1.1, google music......... no good, no impact............ fresh install of 1.1, with only google music downloaded. Will try another ROM.

When using Voice Actions to send an email, or a "note to self", I get the message "Unfortunately, Voice Search has stopped"
All other Voice actions work fine. Maybe it's an email issue? The only account I have setup is Gmail, though for an experiment I setup a Yahoo account as well. Still wasn't able to send emails through Voice Actions

I don't think that you got my message. You did not answer my question. What music are you listening to? Try to use TIB and uninstall MusicFX (warning - system app). Leave only DSP and then check within the app to enable effects and eq eg google music.

I had the same issue with Nuance Voice Control as well. I'm wondering if something was deodexed out of this ROM that both apps require?

Found my first problem with 1.1.
I took a picture and tried to send it from the review. When i select the share menu i.get an error.that no applications can perform this action.

Anyone else getting this?
