BTW, is there anyway to stop it from automatically trying to put an icon on the home screen whenever I install an application? It's getting pretty annoying and I think this is an ICS issue, not an Eclipse one.

Hi all I'm new here. I just did the install and I am hanging at the dual core start up screen. I did the wipe, I'm pretty sure I followed the instructions. I've got nothing. Am I bricked? What can I do to fix this? Thanks

One problem is when you take a pic and try to share it it kicks a error saying no app can perform this function.. Awesome job nitro

If you're coming from the previous Eclipse build, boot in to recovery, wipe data, cache, and dalvik, flash the update.

I dont have to format/system also?

I said from 211 and not to 211.
By the way eclipse 1.1 wipes data when installs.nitro wanted to be sure that there is no mistake.

I went to .211 without wiping data.

Guys and nitro.
I did an experiment.
I did not wipe data. Just cache and dalvik.
Flashed 1.1 over 1. Went smooth with no error.
Surprise surprise. Absolutely everything is intact. No data lost. No error and no FC.
I'm now on 1.1 coming from 1 without wiping data.
Is it something that escapes me here?
How can I verify that the new version applied everything that was new?
I usually delete some apps which I don't use them. Live wallpapers, DSP, guided tours, news and weather, rescue and emergency apps etc. They are back with 1.1 so I'd think the update went through.

I was really glad to see this asked and answered! I wasn't going to ask and was determined that I was going to figure that stupid crap out on my own because, why have a freakin app drawer if all your icons are on your homescreen?! That was a stupid idea, Google, especially after adding widgets to the app drawer and giving one more reason to go there! lol Anyway, thanks for the info, Bennett!

And, by the way, Nitro, I don''t know how I missed the fact that you updated yesterday but, I'm downloading 1.1 now. I JUST got iKream set up nicely but, the AOSP lockscreen with four hot seats was just too much to resist.

Motocast fully working now. Yupiiii.

Edit: My Music which is part of the Motocast family is missing. Already mentioned above: My Gallery is missing as well.
Edit 2: For who's interested. I extracted from leaked ota 211 My Music (motmusic.apk) with APK Swapper and copied to system\app. On restart I have now My Music with Motocast working. I tried the same with My Gallery (motgallery.apk) but the app it is not showing up in the drawer(nor in TIB). I previously removed the regular gallery but still no luck. Well for now I'm happy.

AGGHHHH I loved this ROM on GB and yesterday when I flashed over ICS I was super disappointed with it. I'm so glad you "ported" this or whatever it is you did to make this for ICS! Thank you Nitro!

Any way to change lock screen shortcuts? I use go SMS, and the lock screen goes to stock messenger. I could delete stock SMS and replace with go SMS as a system app, but might run into problems with auto retrieving.. Hmm

What player or music app are you using? Just for you to know DSP it is not an app that works overall Android system. For example it is not working with radios and apps that stream music. For that you have to use apps like

Nitro, thank goodness I still have my old DroidX. I can satisfy my crackflasher addiction on it and leave this awsome ROM on my Razr forever (or at least until your next update.)
