I have a question. I went into TiBu and noticed facelock listed there as an app. It's this indeed pin the phone? It does not show up anywhere that I can find other than on TiBu.

I have face lock as my lock method on my phone, with the pattern as back up. It is indeed on this rom and available to use.System Settings/Security/Lock Screen

It's possible that I just made a mistake in flashing it, but this doesn't seem to work on bootstrap. I expected this, as the op says that it's for safestrap. That said, does anyone know how to make it work with bootstrap, and/or will there be a version in the future for bootstrap?

Me too! I was stock .211 for about 10 seconds.

I didn't know there was a Bootstrap for ICS. Safestrap is safer anyway (hence the name). And they work almost identically, Safestrap just requires 3 extra clicks.

For me, at least as far as I can tell, it's that I don't have to worry about 'multiple systems' and other such things, though it's mainly been that prior to now i've had no reason to use safestrap, bootstrap is just what i'm used to. If it's not likely to come out then i'll probably just transition over to safestrap instead.

You really don't even know the second system is there. Its just peace of mind to know if your ROM screws up or bricks your phone, you can switch back to your working system and all is well again.

First off, this rom is awesome!!! It runs like a champ and am a huge fan of the pull down toggles! Great job Nitro!!!



However I am having one problem. I am having an issue with my Facebook contacts. The profile pics aren't syncing. I was curious if anyone else is having this issue or has a solution. It worked for me on the stock .211. I've tried syncing contacts through the Facebook app three times and all it does is add all of my Facebook contacts, even though I selected "sync with existing contacts" and it adds no one's profile pic.


UPDATE: Just unistalled and then reinstalled Facebook. Again, when it asked me about syncing with contacts, I selected the "sync with existing contacts" option and again it just added every single facebook friends' contacts...


UPDATE 2: I went to "contacts to display" and selected to only show my gmail contacts and it finally worked!!

Find the entitlement_check line and change the 1 to a 0. Save it/Back out of SQLite and reboot phone. Then stock vzw hotspot will work.
