Hey all, as always, I love Eclipse!!! Amazing ROM! But, I did the fix stated in the AOKP ROM page and it did not work. I also did the sql lite fix and that did not work. Any ideas? WiFi Tether is a big deal for me. Thanks in advance.

have you tried FoxFi (it's free in market)...it allows you to wifi tether, even if you have an unrooted device. I haven't tested on this particular rom as I haven't loaded the rom yet, but I can't see why it wouldn't work..

I can not imagine ever switching from this ROM. I loved it on gingerbread and it's even better on ICS! Thank you Nitro!

I have a question. I went into TiBu and noticed facelock listed there as an app. It's this indeed pin the phone? It does not show up anywhere that I can find other than on TiBu.

yeah i lost about 1% an hour last night when i was sleeping, so about an 8% drop total, not sure how normal that is on the maxx?

If you guys are having battery troubles let it drain until it is dead and then charge until 100 again. You should be ok after fully charged.

It's in system/app. It would probably show up in TiBu if you are backing up system apps (which i would do with great caution).

If you flash this over a GB rom (Eclipse or otherwise) , you will have issues. The thing is, there are certain things which cannot be updated except for taking a full system update (OTA or leak, etc) which is why you must be on ICS yo install this. Otherwise things will be incompatible, causing issues. Please take the OP seriously & follow instructions posted...these developers don't specify this kind of stuff because it's fun to give you extra steps, they specify it because it's necessary...if you want to blatantly disregard the developer's instructions, and you end up with a paperweight...it's your own fault.... just sayin

Really guy? All you will get is a blank screen. Read any op on this forum and you will figure it out

NattyBee - Thanks. I was thinking that exactly but I could find anything regarding this specific rom. I want to follow the developers instructions but like you said, sometimes there is extra steps. And I want to do it right.

mDowns & jamminjon - Don't assume you're smarter than everyone on here. I've got plenty of experience with this stuff. I'm just trying to do it right, hopefully do it right with advice from other people on this forum who want to help each other. so stick it.

We do try to be friendly but some folks do forget that we were all noobs once...and really, to be fair, your question kinda inspires sarcasm, as you did basically say "what's the point of following the developer's instructions " lol...but don't take offense.
