I'm thinking of doing the same, but I'm just terrified that I'm going to screw it up somehow! Good to know that others have used it successfully on their Maxx. Still working up the nerve to give it a go...

Read, read again, and read once more. Then give it a try. We're here to help if something doesn't go according to plan.

Thanks a bunch. Just to be clear, I've got a rooted Maxx (used PwnMyMoto) and I also made some modification that allows for wifi tethering. I'd like my Maxx to be fresh-outta-the-box 100% stock. I can accomplish this with this tool, right? I've read it a bunch of times! lol
And going the "keep my data" route preserves the contents of my SD card, right?
This step confuses me: o) If root exists for your device, add the files to the root folder. Make sure run.bat and/or run.sh exists.
I am currently rooted. What files would I be adding to where?

Keep my Data keeps your Data partition on your device intact.
The root step means that if there is a root exploit available for your device and you want the House of Moto to give you root, then put the exploit files in that folder- otherwise skip.

Is the HouseOfMoto_1.4.zip uploaded anywhere other than Mediafire? I am stuck in a boot loop and am desperate to get this tool but my workplace has a sorry excuse for a firewall that actually blocks Mediafire. Maybe someone could upload to a public Google Drive or Dropbox?

Which flash mode do I want to select? Sorry if that's a total noob question!

Thanks so much! Are you able to put the support scripts on drdevs as well? I'm only interested in the xt1080, personally. Once again, I can't thank you enough.

Either RSD or fastboot[snapdragon] is fine for your phone. It's a personal preference....either one will work fine.

I've updated the OP to clarify the root issue as several people have been confused by that.

My nerves were completely unwarranted. That was too easy. Phone looks identical to what it did 3 minutes ago, except my root apps don't work....so I assume I'm back to stock! MANY thanks, not only for the tool, but for the very quick support of my questions.

N00b-ish question: Will the xt1080 scripts work with the XT1080M (Maxx)?

Thanks for your extremely quick response! Do I need to change any of the device names inside the script i.e "XT1080" to "XT1080M"? And on the FXZ folder I created, Does it need to be FXZ_xt1080m or FXZ_xt1080?
Edit: Nevermind my stupidity. The filenames have nothing to do with the flash.

I have a Bionic. I am currently on the .223 leak. Never updated after that. Phone has been acting tired for awhile. Im thinking it needs a refresh after installing and removing apps and general usage since the 223 leak came out. I am not sure what FXZ to use. So I just use the 4.04 one? Or do I have to use the 2.3.4 one? Thanks.
I got my answer on another post thanks.

I am able to flash the KEEP-DATA_xt1080.bat but soon after that, I get a bunch of error messages:
Help please? I also downloaded obake-maxx_verizion-user FXZ package.
Thanks for the assistance!!
