I'll just leave this here...
Read carefully. Most of you can't use it. Those who are unlocked and want a fairly easy way to root (or even just install custom recovery hehe) can use it.

You have to tell it what flash mode you want to use. RSD or fastboot [snapdragon] in the case of your phone. Once you do that, you'll be taken to a menu of options for the scripts you have installed for the chosen flash mode. If you're trying to downgrade, you'll need to install the FXZ for the version you're trying to downgrade to (MR2 or MR4 I would suspect) and use the UNIVERSAL flash option.

I have seen updates come out for the Moto X but haven't seen any new FXZ's come out for them. I mean unless there is something on the SBF site i miseed.

Um, the VZW Moto X update just hit soak 2 days ago. It's not going to be posted that fast. The other variants have had their FXZ posted, so, yes, I hold to my statement that FXZ's come out within days after their general (not soak) availability.

Sure. That's to be expected. And the FXZ will likely get leaked in a few days.

Hopefully soon the whole Droid lineup will recieve the updated software. Although this is starting to remind me of the Razr's & the Bionic. (Razr's get the updates then months down the road the Bionic would get the same thing) Only this time it makes no sense to me (not that it made any then) since they use the same hardware/software.

xt907
Updated to include UNIVERSAL script. This script has the TZ partition flash removed so that you can use it to upgrade or downgrade to new versions without errors.
Does that mean that I CAN go back to an earlier version with xt907 AND unlock the bootloader?

Correct, security prevents you from downgrading.
