House of Moto 3.1 released
o) Added flash.log creation when flashing. If you have problems, please post the contents of the flash.log file.
NOTE: Untested on Linux. I didn't have time to verify it's working there. Could be bugs, so please let me know if it doesn't work. I'll test it later if I get a chance.

Yeah I gave up on it and was trying to do a full-wipe. How can I use House of Moto or RSD flasher for this? I tried but was getting remote device errors. I even tried loading the package onto external microsd and it just gives 'installation aborted'.

Why would you think that you could "load it onto the external sdcard?" It amazes me what people "try" with an expensive phone. Anyway, remote device errors are often caused by the following:
USB cable (must be oem cable that came with the phone...yes, it matters)
USB port (must be USB 2.0, not 3.0)
USB driver
And if you want to do a full wipe, use the FULL option.

When I meant load it on external and install via the stock recovery, I meant the package file downloaded from sbf-developers (not the flash stuff from house of moto).
All 3 above check. When I flash manually (using mfastboot.exe), it did this:
sending 'partition' (32 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.022s]
writing 'partition'...
This may take a few seconds, if a
different partition table is being
flashed since we need to backup
and restore a few partitions
Failed to program partition table

sending 'system' (30720 KB)...
OKAY [ 2.348s]

sending 'boot' (10240 KB)...

Oh I know EXACTLY what you meant. What makes you think an FXZ can be installed like an OTA? :
As for your problem, no idea. You'll have to do some research and see if anyone else has encountered that problem and whether they fixed it.

Is there anywhere I can download an OTA I guess you call it and try installing from external microsd? Are there any other sources of stock firmwares besides sbf-developers? Not that familiar with fxz vs ota sorry
Should I try to flash 4.4.2? Will probably fail as it seems the device is stuck in R/O. Also tried using motorola's unlock bootloader code and it said 'Your device is not eligible'. Not sure if that matters or not.

People just need to learn to read and learn what the different terminology means. We were all noobs once but the main difference between the older generation of noobs and the newer generation is we did everything they don't want to do. The "newer" noobs want everything gifted to them on a silver plate with one click options instead of getting their hands dirty and doing some leg work.

I'm not sure how much better it can get than Sam's tools... Its getting close to a golden plate, not even silver! It is literally copy a couple files and hit go...

Good catch. That's the Droid Maxx and would brick a RAZR HD permanently if it were to be flashed. So uh, that's not good.

Ok, so I'm having some trouble and i'm hoping someone might be able to help. So I have a Driod Bionic and it's a few years old. Rooted it, installed safestrap, installed cyanogenmod, got it to work just fine. A few weeks ago, when I updated to one of the nightlies, I stopped getting 4g service. I have since fxz'd it, reinstalled numerous versions of CM (10.1, 10.2, 11 Snapshots 5-9, and corresponding gapps package, and 3g is the only thing that ever works. I'm kinda over it now but thought I'd ask if anyone had any ideas on things to try next to get it working. I'm currently on the OTA 4.1.2 which I just rooted with the Easy root for Bionic.
Thanks for the help and let me know if you need any more info!

Not really a House of Moto related question. Try posting it in the Bionic section here:

Ok understood because it is the radio.
Next question: I'm having a problem with the fxz and after I install, the device reboots constantly, only staying on for 10 -15 minutes at a time max. I'm wondering if an error message I get when fXZ'ing is the root of the problem. Here's what happens:
When I install and use house of moto to fxz my device, once it says "press any button to begin" at the very beginning of the process, it says:
And continues ( just took a screenshot at that point).
It seems to work but not sure if this error is the reason it keeps restarting after I install.
