Its never a bad idea to have more than one version of HoM on hand...... Just in case..... We've seen some pretty freaky stuff with winblows........nice so I finally gather the nuts to use this and now your making a new one. lol would it be beneficially for me to wait?

Yea, waiting is certainly not an option. It's not like I'm whipping this new concept out in an hour. LOL. It's a completely new tool I have in mind. Functionally, the end game is still the same. I'm just going to make the tool easier to use. By a LOT if I can make the idea work. I have to write a bunch of new java functions for each part of what I want to do. Some of the RSD Script Generator code is reusable for this project. I have code in another project that may partially help with what I want to do. And there's the very big possibility that what I wanna do isn't possible at all, so, there's that. LOL.

The House of Moto, for windows users, is about to get replaced with a new java utility I just prototyped. It takes the RSD Script Generator to a whole new level. 
The new RSD Flasher java program will:
o) Asks you for the location of the SDL.exe (RSD executable) file
o) Asks you for the location of the FXZ's xml file
o) Presents you with the usual FULL, KEEP DATA, and UNIVERSAL buttons
When you press whichever button you want, the appropriate script is generated, RSD is launched, and automatically flashes the newly generated script. I *LITERALLY* can't make this any easier than that. I will be posting a prototype version of it later. I have a Moto X DE that I can test it on before releasing so that I can make sure it works first. So far it certainly seems to as I have it launching RSD with the script. Once I release it and get it working, I'm going to spend some time getting the FXZ Flasher to work for fastboot flashing. That will allow windows/mac/linux users to have the same functionality using fastboot instead of RSD. Look for the new RSD Flasher thread later today.

Using Factory Fastboot cable, USB ports working fine with all other devices, Drivers been installed updated firmware through the utility, installed safestrap etc. Is there a way to reflash from scratch. RESCUE PLZ

I don't know what you want...magic? If it's stuck sending something to your phone, it's one of the 3 things I mentioned. Period.

The only thing I scratched my head on is VRZ zip file did not have a sub directory in it. Other than that no problems at all.

House of Moto 2.4 released
o) Added true FULL script generation for FXZ's that are now shipping as "KEEP DATA" by default. The 2013 Droid FXZ's are an example. They don't include the erase userdata line which is great for regular flashing, but, if you want a true FULL flash you have to add the erase userdata line. The new script generator in the House of Moto will make sure that line is there for all FULL scripts.

So now that the RSD Flasher is really working well for Windows users, I am likely going to remove RSD flashing options from the House of Moto and turn it into a command line only flashing util. The reason for this is it'll vastly simplify the code for the House of Moto and allow me to add some kick ass new functionality for you guys to make using it much, MUCH easier. This will benefit our Linux and Mac friends while we're at it as they can't use the RSD flashing options anyway. This will likely take some time to rewrite as I want to greatly enhance the java portion of it...stealing some more functionality from the RSD Flasher code base to enhance what the House of Moto does for you guys and gals. Hopefully I'll be able to get this done in the next few days and push out a new version that is fastboot mode only. It will require a completely fresh install so I may bump up the version to 3...we'll see on that.

House of Moto 3.0 Released
Warning: This is a brand new version. You MUST delete the old version and start over from scratch with this one. Failure to do so will not garner you any support when it no workie.
o) Removed RSD flashing....use the RSD Flasher if you want RSD.
o) Yes, that means this is fastboot only flashing now
o) Added FXZ extracting support to the script generator. Follow the instructions to setup the House of Moto and it should be a piece of cake. Pay special attention to the FXZ directory naming requirements. Failure to meet those will likely cause things to no workie. You may even get bitched at by the script generator.
o) Removed all the phone/model nonsense. Know what you're flashing. Know what you're flashing TO. If you do not, and select the wrong thing, you may brick your phone permanently.
o) Added support for MULTIPLE FXZ's. You can select which FXZ from the House of Moto menu. See previous comment about knowing what you're flashing.
This is an all new version rewritten almost from the ground up, so, there MAY be bugs. Report them and I'll fix them. Already found one as I was doing my own testing and is now fixed in both this and the RSD Flasher.

Hey SamuriHL,
Using House of Moto 3.0.....Followed instructions to the letter. When running the BAT file, comes up with file not found. Tried with both 4.4.2 and 4.4.4....Script "seemed" to generate fine...please advise...thanks....
EDIT: Figured it out. When running the program in Windows 8.1, windows flags the app and "prevents in from running". I tried to run it as admin and it didn't recognize the file. Running it normally and then selecting "run anyways" seemed to do the trick. Updating the phone now....will post with results...
EDIT #2: All set. Running Android 4.4.4 on a MotoX. Life is good......

Nice work. Noticed that when I ran the Script Generator, it only produced .bat files? So, is it smart now to determine whether I need .bat or shell scripts (for Linux and Mac) so it will only generate the .sh scripts when I'm under Linux?
