Thread cleaned - Let's keep this on topic. Folks needing help have a hard enough time reading the good stuff, let alone the side convo's.

As always, the work you do is much appreciated. Took my xt907 from stuck on 4.1.1 with deleted system apps to fully functioning Kit Kat 4.4.2. Thank you!

So I have been unable to have the phone reboot properly. It always goes to AP Fastboot Mode. I can get it to boot up by pressing and holding power+vol up+vol down. But rebooting always takes me to AP Fastboot. Not a big deal except I'd like to sell the phone.
I have followed the instructions down to the letter, and I even got ahold of an OEM Motorola cable. I downloaded the Snapdragon files and put them in the correct locations. Can anyone help me out?

What is the text of the AP Fastboot screen? I need to see all of it. I'm pretty sure we can fix it.

It is the Droid Razr HD for Verizon. XT926.
Here is all the text on the Fastboot screen:
AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S)

You could have saved some time and told me you were on a mac before.
Then once you have that installed, run the fastboot command.

Sorry about that! I tried doing that fast boot command, and it got stuck on < waiting on devices >.
I typed in "./adb devices" and it says my device is Offline. It's turned on and USB debugging is enabled. I am using the OEM cable. What now? lol

Ummmmm, you do realize that "fastboot" commands should be run while the phone is in "AP Fastboot mode" right? ADB isn't used for fixing sticky bit. You just run the command in the post I linked to to do the fb_clear or whatever the hell it is, and that's done in AP Fastboot mode with the phone connected to a USB2 port.

Ha! Before I read your post, I decided to try that and it worked like a charm. I was just following the instructions in the post you linked.
Thanks so much for your help! It boots up like it should now.

sorry for the total noob question but I used this tool to flash KitKat when the OTA wouldn't work. I hate the update, my phone is terrible now. I did a FDR and all before the update. Since I used this to flash the update, can I go back to Jellybean by using the FXZ downloaded from the page in the link?

Not unless you are an unlocked bootloader.

Crap, that is what I was afraid of. KK has made my Razr HD virtually unusable. I drop MMS signal and cant get 3g/4g data where I used to before. The battery life sucks too. Talked to VZW and no help at all. Thanks for the quick reply!

Try doing another FDR now that you are on KK. I had issues like that and until I FDR'd after the OTA, my issues wouldn't go away. You would think an FDR before the OTA/flash would work, but you just never know. These machines can be a bit finicky at times.
