It must be the non-OEM cable then. I don't know what to do about that. Do you know of any third-party cables that work with the XT926 for this?

Okay I made it all the way through the installation process. Now how do I get out of Fastboot and reboot the phone?

If it's finished it should reboot automatically.

Problem... anytime I reboot the phone it goes back to AP Fastboot. Any idea why that is?

Then your flash failed. I need to know specifics. I'm not in the mood to play guessing games about what failed.

I tried flashing two more times. When it "reboots", it keeps going to the Fastboot screen. It says "Fastboot Reason: Sticky hit factory_fastboot".

It's a good thing you posted the results of the flash so I can see what exactly failed. Oh, right, you didn't. So that just wasted both our time. I really can't stress enough that I'm not playing a guessing game. If you want help fixing it, post the flash results. Otherwise, this is pointless and I'm not going to waste my time.

sorry I've tried it as much as i possibly could with a throbbing head...I'm running system version 182.46.10.XT926, Android version 4.4.2, Build number KDA20.62-10
only issue i couldnt fix was when i tried extracting the fxz files to the folder i created in HOM under FXZ_xt926 i extracted all files when i went into directory and clicked extract all files to the folder FXZ_xt926 but still showed me this VZW_XT926_4.4.2-KDA20.62-10.1_CFC_1FF.xml ...never found the boot.img at the end of it though
I know i'm a newb to this but eh if you cant figure it out just hit your computer harder till it works!...then go buy another computer
well hope i can get some help from anyone if they see the issue i'm having
Thank you

you FXZ files need to be one folder up.....read instructions again
#918
Posted 31 May 2014 - 03:44 PM
when i run the moto.bat it seems to say file not found above the 3 choices of changing model, exiting and the changing flash mode
reread instructions...says to go into the zip folder then go into the directory folder..15 files within it...i extract it to house of moto then FXZ file i created
it creates a subfolder with the files...i copy pasted them within the first folder of FXZ so i moved it up one folder with the windows, linux, darwin folders but no luck
am i missing something? i ran rsd as well but it seems to fail as well
btw the phone is locked with status code 0 and the issue is on power up it says fastboot reason: Flash Failure so i need to press power volume up to do a normal boot up
i hope this program is able to fix this problem...otherwise i'm wasting my time
Couldn't find any programs for motorola droid razr maxx hd to unlock phone and root device on kit kat 4.4.2 also
If anyone has any idea of a program that could do these so i can gain tethering again...unlimited data is such a waste if only you get to have it :/ lol
