Also, I know the battery issue will be the first thing mentioned. When I try to flash it the battery reads ok, but then afterwards it comes back as battery low. Not sure why though...

I may have missed it, but do you have the Motorola drivers properly installed on PC?..... that will be step 1 to check when HoM won't even try to start flashing ....

I'm going to assume the battery is too low to go all the way through the flash. Your going to want to get a TBH factory adapter

I believe so. I followed SamuriHL's link to Motorola's website and downloaded the Device Manager which updated to Version 2.4.5 and shows there are no available updates for 9.1.41xt926.verizon.en.us. Is there somewhere to manually download a specific driver? I was under the impression that the device manager automatically updated the drivers.

You can get the drivers here ....

... IMO (and my experience) the device manager isn't as good as manually installing...:)

he/she stated they tried all the files, but that one is definitely old. Also they didnt really tell us the problem they had.

In Fastboot mode, does it say battery low? are you using the real Moto cable? not usb 3.0 port...etc. :)

So I appreciate all the feedback. To clarify, I can only access the AP Fastboot screen. When trying to access the BP Tools or Recovery, the phone only will show the AP Fastboot screen. I ordered the TBH adapter this morning and hope to have it this week in case it is a battery issue. I have been utilizing the factory Motorola cable that came with the phone, and I made sure I am using 2.0 usb ports. I was trying to flash the older software thinking it may have been the stock and might flash easier. The screen shows "battery ok" until I try to flash and then it will switch to "battery low" while attempting to flash. In the meantime, I will redownload the driver manually and update the FXZ to the suggested file. Thanks again for the help and I will post any changes on the log file once I have a chance to flash it again.

I'm going to keep repeating this over and over until people get this. Do not, unless someone specifically tells you to, ever use an older FXZ than what you currently have installed. Did I mention ever? Cause I really truly mean it. If you get it in your head that it can somehow help your situation you're mistaken. What it will do, however, is take a bad situation and make it worse by soft bricking your nice phone. That would be this little flash failed messages that people ignore and then say their phone only boots in ap fastboot mode. That's bad. Don't do that.

Update: Received the TBH adapter and everything flashed fine. Batttery seems to have been the issue. I appreciate everyone's patience in helping get phone running again. I realize now that even though it was suggested to take some *initiative* in fixing my own phone, I should have just fallen at the altar and begged forgiveness. Either way- The HoM utility rocks!!!

That's why i have 2 adapters on my person at all times, I don't even own a moto anymore. But old habits die hard.

I would like to add that if you have any Sammy drivers installed on the same computer that you are using HOB, there is a good chance that you will have issues with fastboot and RSD.
Other than that.. Thank you once again for a simplified way to restore a Moto device Sam!

Me either. Of course I have a lot of crap on here so there is no telling! At the end of the day though..HOB made things simple. I just had to copy the folder with all the scripts over to another computer and bam..back in business. All I know is that the HOB never spat out any errors..did it's thing..Same laptop I've restored my Bionic,RAZR and an M..and of course my S4. Fastboot and RSD just didn't like my X.

I had the same issue. I uninstalled the Sammy drivers and whala, but I've since put the Sammy drivers back on and have had no issues. Not sure what the conflict was. Sent From My DEV X

but I'm still there.....

Regardless, it's not an issue with HoM and could just be there order of things. Just a good observation in case others have issues. Didn't you say you had something similar too?
